    Hadeeth of the day (OP)

As salaam alekum ( Peace be upon you)

Hadeeth means the words, actions, approval or attributes that have been narrated from the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

    Narrated Muawiya bin Suwald:

I heard Al-Bara' bin 'Azib saying, "The Prophet (S.A.W) orders us to do seven things and prohibited us from doing seven other things." Then Al-Bara' mentioned the following:--

    (1) To pay a visit to the sick (inquiring about his health),

    (2) to follow funeral processions,

    (3) to say to a sneezer, "May Allah be merciful to you" (if he says, "Praise be to Allah!"),

    (4) to return greetings,

    (5) to help the oppressed,

    (6) to accept invitations,

    (7) to help others to fulfill their oaths.

Narrated Kharija bin Zaid bin Thabit: Um Al-`Ala' (RA), an Ansari woman who gave the pledge of allegiance to the Prophet (peace be upon him) said to me, "The emigrants were distributed amongst us by drawing lots and we got in our share `Uthman bin Maz'un. We made him stay with us in our house. Then he suffered from a disease which proved fatal when he died and was given a bath and was shrouded in his clothes, Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) came ane I said, 'May Allah be merciful to you, O Abu As-Sa'ib! I testify that Allah has honored you'. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, 'How do you know that Allah has honored him?' I replied, 'O Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him)! Let my father be sacrificed for you! On whom else shall Allah bestow His honor?' The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, 'No doubt, death came to him. By Allah, I too wish him good, but by Allah, I do not know what Allah will do with me though I am Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him). ' By Allah, I never attested the piety of anyone after that."

Narrated Abu Huraira (May Allah be pleased with him): Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, “Satan comes to one of you and says, 'Who created so-and-so? 'till he says, 'Who has created your Lord?' So, when he inspires such a question, one should seek refuge with Allah and give up such thoughts.”

    Re: Hadeeth of the day

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah

Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "When the people of
Paradise will enter Paradise and the people of Hell will go to Hell, Allah
will order those who have had faith equal to the weight of a grain of
mustard seed to be taken out from Hell.

So they will be taken out but (by
then) they will be blackened (charred). Then they will be put in the river
of Haya' (rain) or Hayat (life) (the Narrator is in doubt as to which is
the right term), and they will revive like a grain that grows near the bank
    of a flood channel.

Don't you see that it comes out yellow and twisted"

Mutarrif (RA) reported that his father said, "I went in the delegation of the Banu 'Amir (RA) to the Prophet (peace be upon him). They said, 'You are our master.' He said, 'The Master is Allah.' They said, 'The best of us in excellence and the greatest of us in generosity.' He said, 'Say what you like, but do not let Shaytan provoke you.'"

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Whoever has the following
four (characteristics) will be a pure hypocrite and whoever has one of the
following four characteristics will have one characteristic of hypocrisy

    1. Whenever he is entrusted, he betrays.

Jabir (RA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Indeed the most beloved among you to me, and the nearest to sit with me on the Day of Judgment is the best of you in character. And indeed, the most disliked among you to me, and the one sitting furthest from me on the Day of Judgement are the Thartharun, and the Mutashaddiqun and the Muthafaihiqun." They said: "O Messenger of Allah! We know about the Thartharun, and the Mutashaddiqun, but what about the Muthafaihiqun?"' He said: "The arrogant."

Narrated Abu Hurairah (RA): "A man behaved in a rude manner while trying to collect a debt from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). So his Companions were about to harm him. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Leave him, for indeed the owner of the right has the right to speak.' Then he said: 'Purchase a camel for him and give it to him.' So they searched out but they did not find a camel but of a better age than his camel. So he said: 'Buy it and give it to him. For indeed the best of you is the best in repaying.'"

Abu Mas'ud (RA) narrated: "A man named Abu Shu'aib came to a slave of his, who was a butcher, and said: 'Prepare some food for me that will be sufficient for five, for I have seen hunger in the face of the Messenger of Allah.' So he prepared some food. Then he sent a message to the Prophet inviting him and those who were sitting with him. When the Prophet (peace be upon him) stood, he was followed by a man who was not with them when they were invited. When the Messenger of Allah arrived at the door, he said to the owner of the house: 'A man who was not with us when you invited us followed us, if you permit him, he will enter.'" He said: We have permitted him, let him enter."

    Re: Hadeeth of the day

Narrated `Aisha (May Allah be pleased with her): The Prophet (ﷺ) used to like sweet edible things and honey.

    Re: Hadeeth of the day

Narrated Salama bin Al-Akwa (RA): A dead person was brought to the Prophet (peace be upon him) so that he might lead the funeral prayer for him. He asked, "Is he in debt?" When the people replied in the negative, he led the funeral prayer. Another dead person was brought and he asked, "Is he in debt?" They said, "Yes." He (refused to lead the prayer and) said, "Lead the prayer of your friend." Abu Qatada said, "O Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him)! I undertake to pay his debt." Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) then led his funeral prayer.
