    Hadeeth of the day (OP)

As salaam alekum ( Peace be upon you)

Hadeeth means the words, actions, approval or attributes that have been narrated from the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

    Narrated Muawiya bin Suwald:

I heard Al-Bara' bin 'Azib saying, "The Prophet (S.A.W) orders us to do seven things and prohibited us from doing seven other things." Then Al-Bara' mentioned the following:--

    (1) To pay a visit to the sick (inquiring about his health),

    (2) to follow funeral processions,

    (3) to say to a sneezer, "May Allah be merciful to you" (if he says, "Praise be to Allah!"),

    (4) to return greetings,

    (5) to help the oppressed,

    (6) to accept invitations,

    (7) to help others to fulfill their oaths.

It was narrated that Ka'b bin 'Ujrah said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'There are statements of remembrance following the prayer of which the one who says them will never be deprived of the reward: Glorifying Allah (SWT) thirty-three times following each prayer, and praising Him thirty-three times, and magnifying Him thirty-four times.'"

    Narrated/Authority of Abu Huraira
the Prophet (SAW) said: Allah (SWT) said: I had prepared for My righteous slaves what no eye has seen nor any ear has heard nor any human mind has realised (nor it has occurred to any human heart). (This Hadith is sound and reported by Bukhari, Muslim,Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah). Later on Abu Huraira said: Recite if you wish: No soul knows about the joy of eyes (pleasure) which has been hidden for them.

    Re: Hadeeth of the day

    Narrated/Authority of Abu Dhar
Allah's Messenger (PBUH) said: I know the last of the dwellers of Hell to come out and the last of the people of Paradise to enter. He is a man who would be brought before Allah on the Day of Resurrection. Then Allah will command the angels: Ask him about the minor sins and hide the major ones. Then it will be said to him: On such and such day you did that and that sin; and on such and such day you committed that and that bad deed. The Prophet (SAW) added: It will be said to him: In place of every evil deed, you will be granted one good deed. The Prophet (SAW) continued. The sinner would say: My Lord! I have done things which I do not find here. The narrator said: Indeed I saw the Messenger (PBUH) of Allah (SWT) laugh until his premolar teeth were visible. (because the sinner was frogiven.) (This Hadith is sound and reported by Tirmidhi).

    Re: Hadeeth of the day

Abdullah (b. Masu'd) reported: We used to greet the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) while he was engaged in prayer and he would respond to our greeting. But when we returned from the Negus we greeted him and he did not respond to us; so we said: Messenger of Allah. we used to greet you when you were engaged in prayer and you would respond to us. He replied: Prayer demands whole attention.

Jabir reported: The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) sent me on an errand. I (having done the business assigned to me came back and) joined him as he was going (on a ride). Qutaiba said that he was saying prayer while he rode. I greeted him. He gestured to me. When he completed the prayer. he called me and said: You greeted me just now while I was engaged in prayer. (Qutaiba said) : His (Prophet's face) was towards the east, as he was praying.

Abu Huraira reported that he heard the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) saying: A highly wicked one amongst the Jinn escaped yesternight to interrupt my prayer, but Allah gave me power over him, so I seized him and intended to tie him to one of the pillars of the mosque in order that you, all together or all, might look at him, but I remembered the supplication of my brother Sulaiman: "My Lord, forgive me, give me such a kingdom as will not be possible for anyone after me" (Qur'an, xxxvii. 35).

    Re: Hadeeth of the day

Narrated Ibn `Umar (RA): Once the Prophet (peace be upon him) went to the house of Fatima (RA) but did not enter it. `Ali (RA) came and she told him about that. When Ali (RA) asked the Prophet (peace be upon him) about it, he said, "I saw a (multicolored) decorated curtain on her door. I am not interested in worldly things." `Ali (RA) went to Fatima (RA) and told her about it. Fatima (RA) said, "I am ready to dispense with it in the way he suggests." The Prophet (peace be upon him) ordered her to send it to such-and such needy people."

It was narrated from Abu Hurayra(R) that the Prophet (SallAllahu alayhe wasallam')said:

“Religion is easy, and no one overburdens himself in his religion but he will be unable to continue in that way. So do not be extremists, but try to be near perfection and receive the good tidings that you will be rewarded. Gain strength by worshipping in the mornings and afternoons and during the last hours of the night.”

Narrated/Authority of Abu Bakr bin Abi Musa
that his father said: "A man came to the Prophet (saw) asking him about the times of prayer, and he did not answer him. He told Bilal to say the Iqamah at dawn broke, then he told him to say the Iqamah for Zuhr when the sun had passed its zenith and a person would say: 'It is the middle of the day,' but he (the Prophet (saw)) knew better. Then he told him to say the Iqamah for Asr when the sun was still high. Then he told him to say the Iqamah for Maghrib when the sun had set. Then he told him to say the Iqamah for Isha when the twilight had disappeared. Then the next day he told him to day the Iqamah for Fajr, at a time such that when after he had finished one would say: 'The sun has risen.' Then he delayed Zuhr until it was nearly the time of Asr compared to the day before. Then he delayed Asr, to a time such that when he finished, one would say: 'The sun has turned red.' Then he delayed Maghrib until the twilight was about to disappear. Then he delayed 'Isha' until one-third of the night had passed. Then he said: 'The time (for prayer) is between these times.'" Abu Huraira reported that a person came to Allah,'s Messenger (may peace be upon him) and said : Who among the people is most deserving of a fine treatment from my hand ? He said : Your mother. He again said : Then who (is the next one) ? He said: Again it is your mother (who deserves the best treatment from you). He said: Then who (is the next one) ? He (the Holy Prophet) said : Again, it is your mother. He (again) said: Then who? Thereupon he said: Then it is your father.
