    112. Muhammad said, "Abu Hanifah informed us saying, "Alqamah ibn Marthad narrated to us from Ali [ibn al-Aqmar] from Humraan. (Ali] said, "Ibn Umar was never to be seen narrating but that Humraan was one of the closest people to him in the assembly." [Ali} said, "So he said to him one day, 'I think that you cling so close to us that we can bring you some good.'He said, 'Of course, Abu Abd ar-Rahman .'He said, 'Watch out for the three things, two of which I forbid you and one of which I command you to do.'He asked, 'What are they Abu Abd ar-Rahman?' He said, 'Do not die owing a debt except for which you leave payment. Never repudiate a child of yours, because in retaliation he will make you notorious for it on the day of rising just as you gave him notoriety in the world. Your lord does not wrong anyone. Take care of two rak'ahs of Fajr and do not give them up because they are of the highly desired matters.'

    151. Muhammad said, "Abu Hanifa informed us from Hammad from Ibrahim that Umar ibn al-Khattab led his companions in Maghrib without reciting any of the Quran in the whole time until he finished. His companions said to him, 'What prevented you from reciting, Amir al - Mu'minin?' He said, 'Did I not do that? I was equipping an army to go from Madinah to Sham and I continued to ride with it stage by stage until it reached Sham,' and so he and his companions repeated the prayer."

    1. Muhammad ibn al-Hasan said, "Abu Hanifa informed us from Hammaad from Ibrahim [an-Nakha'i] from al-Aswad ibn Yazid that Umar ibn al-Khattaab رضي الله عنه performed wudu , and washed his hands twice, rinsed his mouth twice, rinsed his nose twice, washed his face twice, washed his forearms twice: backwards and forward, then wiped his head twice, and washed his feet twice. Hammaad said, 'Once suffices if it is done fully.'"

Muhammad said "This is the verdict of Abu Hanifa, and we adhere to it."
