How to be shy of Allah

    The Prophet ﷺ said:

“Be shy of Allah as you should truly be shy of Him”.

They said: “We are shy (of Allah), O Prophet (ﷺ)”.

He said, ‘It is much more than that. He who is truly shy of Allah,

How to be shy of Allahlet him preserve his head and what it perceives,
How to be shy of Allahlet him preserve his stomach and what it desires,
How to be shy of Allahlet him remember death and afflictions,

and he who desires the Hereafter abandons the adornments of this world.

He who performs all these, is the one who is shy of Allah as he should be.”

This is a Daif (weak) hadith:

Islam in general advocates a right balance between the worldly life & Hereafter.
