Today there were heavy winds with rain in Makkah after Asr. We were sweating at Jumua. The climate suddenly changed at Asr time. Hope it's calm now, inshaAllah.
Btw, Ramadhan Mubarak to All! *I'm off for Isha & Taraweh*
may Allah grant the aimmah of al7aramain and us all alfirdaws al a3laa, Allahomma ameeeeen
Yes may Allah reward u , they have all been amazing , Sheikh mahir has such a sweet n melodious voice , i still wish that he wouldnt change his tone to the emotinal one , just do his regular sweetest tones even for the heavy ayaat n ayaat of azab etc. may Allah reward him
N shiekh Juhany fajrs have been soo energetic , just amazing , wish i could be there to experience his voice echoing in the mountains of Makkah at fajr time , just out of this world.
N sheikh budair , well i have never heared anything from him specailly fajr that i didnt absolutely love! even sheikh Aal al sheikh came though which is always good to see.

Sis Amani isvery lucky Maa Shaa Allah , there compares to the beauty of sheikh mahir reciting in Haram al makkai , its out of this world , those who have experienced it would know how amazing his voice is and how sweet and melodious when it echoes in the mountains of makkah.
yes i enjoyed listening to the recitations, to me sudais just prays different, when he leads you can hear the echo just sooooooooooo different, sheikh shuraim only led the khutbah when i was there, since then he hasnt led and today he led fajr and im gone.
bint abee- i was recordign it and deleted it by mistake! he made the announcement after isha on sunday for monday morning and the same sunday night it rained , i have pics, none of the sheikhs although i did check out of my window to see when they arrived for salah

Our Lord! Verily, we have heard the call of one calling to Faith: 'Believe in your Lord,' and we have believed.
Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and expiate from us our evil deeds, and make us die (in the state of righteousness) along with Al-Abrar

I can't wait to read about your experiences! You could see when they arrived oh: They still use Babul Ajyaad to enter and exit the Haram, innit? That means you were staying in Ajyaad Does the hotel "Al Jawaar" still exist?
when i went to umrah the all the sheikhs were comin in from the door where the women pray i cant exactly remember the name . Mashallah this is a very clever technique because if they go through the men they will get followed but the women its the other way around . i think it was bab al abdulaziz.

i dunno which door, i saw their cars in the kings palace area. there is now a big bridge thingy leading upstairs into the haram on that side aswell. also further up that way there is a new entrance open from the king palace side which is much quieter..they didnt use the bab abdul aziz.
like this..that door in middle of wall was where they parked and i saw it from my window:
or like so if the crane wasnt in the way i could see
where was al jawaar? they havent knocked down any hotels on that side as far as im aware but i didnt go down those streets to know the hotel names except shopping once or twice and it was too hot n tiring

dont be so sure..women sooooo follow too!

^Al Jawaar was/is in Ajyaad. It was quite close to the Ajyaad hospital and the al Masaa hotel. It was just behind the King's Palace in the Ajyaad area.

oh i only walked that side once and saw al massa, there was no construction going on there so im guessing its still up...but my hotel wasnt there

May Allah reward you for sharing your experiences, and AlhumdolIllah Ala al salamah , Alahumdolilah you reached back safely.
N lol , yes men follow them n women might follow as well , but they cant realy stop them n all and gather around them u know , lol they just fllow n tell the other sisters around this is such n such sheikh , but men we go all out , we gather around them, start shaking their hands n kissing their faces or heads ( If they allow mostly they are too humble and dont let u) so lol atleast women cant do that , so u guys get what MB was trying to say.
I once walked Sheikh Saalih Al Luhaidan all the way out of the haram , such a nice person n one of the big scholars, it was after one of the duroos but i realy cant remmebr which gate he left from, i mean cant remmebr the name but it was definetly from the ladies area though.
Sis did u get to hear any duroos lectures or Q and A series in the haram by Sheikh Luhaidan or Al Rajhi or even Waseullah Abbas ?

jazakallah brotherubaid for clarifying wat i was tryin to say exactly that wat people do kiss the foreheads. and so on they have ALOT OF GUARDS i think sheikh sudais has the most guards same as sheikh shuraim.
mashAllah i think sheikh humaid is the first imam to announce before salatul fajr that there is a sajjdah in suratul sajdah today.mashAllah that was very beneficial.
Our beloved sheikh Hussain Aal Al sheikh delivered in madeenah. I love the way he recites , love his maghrib salahs n we were so blessed to have him for fajr in shabaan last year, that really was a treat.
N yes , i have seeen him announce the sajdah many times , usually when he leads on friday and is due to recite surah Al sajdah he does that.
