Ramadaan Mubaarak, and welcome to part 13 of the Imaams of the Haramain series.
With the beginning of the Maghrib adhaan, Ramadaan has officially started in the Haramain.
The beginning of Ramadaan, the creation of the new thread, and the first sound of "salaatul qiyaam yathaabakumullah...", is always so exciting. May Allah make it easy for the imaams leading and bless them, and may Allah make it easy for us and accept all our endeavours this blessed month, and always, ameen.

I love how Maghrib and Ishaa' tend to have Ramadaan related ayaat on the first night. Sometimes, it's people's first indication (those who missed announcements when Sha'baan was 29 days) that Ramadaan has started. Sheikh Sudais just recited Surah al-Qadr in the second raka3ah of Maghrib.

Ramadhan Mubarak everyone! for the new thread.
The Taraweeh schedule for Masjid Al-Haraam is the same as last year. Shaikh 'Abdullah 'Awad Al-Juhany and Shaikh 'AbdurRahman As-Sudais for the odd nights, Shaikh Sa'ud Ibrahim Ash-Shuraim and Shaikh Maher Al-Mu'aiqaly for the even nights.
The Masjid An-Nabawi schedule is not fully announced yet. For the first two nights, it will be as follows:
First night: Shaikh 'Ali Al-Hudhaify and Shaikh 'AbdulMuhsin Al-Qaasim
Second night: Shaikh Husain Aal-Shaikh and Shaikh Salah Al-Budair

What a nice touch to have "salaatul qiyaam yathaabakumullah" as you visit the page.
Sheikh Juhany's recitation was amazing, though I missed most of Sheikh Sudais's. At some points Sheikh Sudais's recitation seemed to go a lot quieter, almost like he was losing his voice. May Allah grant him and them and us all all good health, ameen.
Good to see brother Abdullah Bane'ema has also gone for Umrah.

Assalamu 'Alaykum Warahmatullaahi Wabarakaatuh,
Ramadhaan Mubaarak Everyone! Feels Like Ramadhaan Has Come Very Quick. Emotional Times Watching Makkah/Madinah Live As Past 3 Years Have Been Spent There Alhamdulillah. Todays Taraaweehs And Du'aas Were Just Awesome, With Atleast 6 Muathins Doing Tableegh In Masjidul Haraam Subhaan Allah.. Cannot Wait For Tomorrow In Shaa Allahu Ta'aalah. And An Amazing Maghrib And 'Ishaa Salaah By Shaykh Sudays And Shaykh Taaleb.
May Allah Make This A Blessed Ramadhaan For All Of Us And May This Ramadhaan Bring Us All Closer To Allah.

Sheikh Khalid Ghamdi leading the second ten in Makkah. What a surprise! First time he's lead taraweeh in Makkah I think. He's lead in Madinah before. Beautiful recitation from Sheikh Juhany as usual. Missed yesterdays.

[002:200] And when you have completed your rites, remember Allah like your [previous] remembrance of your fathers or with [much] greater remembrance. And among the people is he who says, "Our Lord, give us in this world," and he will have in the Hereafter no share. [002:201] But among them is he who says, "Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire."
[002:202] Those will have a share of what they have earned, and Allah is swift in account.
