Imaams of the Haramain - Part XV - Ramadhan 1436-1440 AH (OP)
Ramadhaan Mubaarak, and welcome to part 15 of the Imaams of the Haramain series.
This year we have three new Imaams for Taraweeh, 1 in Masjid Al-Haraam and 2 in Masjid An-Nabawi. In fact, one of them is a returning Imaam, Shaikh Muhammad Ayyub!

Breaking News: To facilitate the visitors to say Salam to the Prophet , they are going to move the Imam back to the location of mihrab of the Messenger of Allah, .
As announced earlier, they are now leading all prayers from the mihrab of Rasulullah in Masjid An-Nabawi, starting from Zuhr prayer today.

Emotional recitation by Shaikh Hudhaify in Fajr, on 1st Jamad Al-Awwal 1439 AH, 18 January 2018
The shaikh gets emotional at 14:24 and he is leading the prayer in Masjid An-Nabawi from the mihrab of Rasulullah , and reciting the following Ayaat:
لَقَدْ جَاءَكُمْ رَسُولٌ مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ عَزِيزٌ عَلَيْهِ مَا عَنِتُّمْ حَرِيصٌ عَلَيْكُم بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ رَءُوفٌ رَّحِيمٌ
فَإِن تَوَلَّوْا فَقُلْ حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ ۖ وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ There has certainly come to you a Messenger from among yourselves. Grievous to him is what you suffer; [he is] concerned over you and to the believers is kind and merciful.
But if they turn away, [O Muhammad], say, "Sufficient for me is Allah ; there is no deity except Him. On Him I have relied, and He is the Lord of the Great Throne." [At-Tawbah: 128-129]
