I'm so jealous of those who don't feel like eating because i feel like eating all the time... and sometimes i think i over indulge.
I monitor my calories intake everyday...and yeah... most of the times it is more than 1200kcal. I just couldn't maintain my calories intake
Please share your tips on how you can eat less but at the same time not feeling hungry.

Firstly: get a good breakfast. Something which provides long burn energy like porridge, muesli, etc.
Secondly: tests have shown that if you liquidise our meals into a thick soup you feel fuller for longer. If you can't liquidise the a good substitute is to chew very thoroughly. Old Chinese proverb:- Eats your drinks and drink your food.
Third: Eat slowly it takes 20 minutes for the receptors in the stomache to signal you have eaten enough, so have something low calorie about fifteen minutes before your meal - say a carrot.
Four: Protein makes you feel fuller for longer so a low calorie protein shake (stay away from the sugared one and the bodybuilder ones especially are loaded with calories.
Easy answer. Eat plenty of fruit, vegetables and salads. They contain a massive amount of fibre which keep you feeling full. Not only that the calories are very low. Drink PLENTY of water as it also helps you to feel full.
If you fancy a snack, grab a banana and an apple. Once you have eaten it you will instantly feel satisfied. This is the way I eat.
1. Fruit
2. Vegetables
3. Salads
4. Plenty of water
Ok, I know you're probably looking for proper scientific info but I don't think it's an effective approach when it comes to eating just 'cause you're bored. Anyway, I tend to drink water with really, really, minty gum or just plain peppermints because that cooling sensation it gives tends to put me back in perspective as well as cool my stomach off and make me feel fuller almost instantly. I drink about 3/4 of a 500ml bottle and have 2 pieces of gum so that works out roughly 30 calories for feeling satisfied and being healthier in the long run as opposed to consuming 500 calories in crisps or a load of chocolate which won't even keep you going for longer than 2 hours!
It works for me during Ramadan at 'iftar/suhoor and those boring days when I have nothing better to do than watch daytime TV and dream of chips.

You should use those moments to eat fruit and maybe some vegetables. Get some vitamins inside you. By doing so, it helps prevent you from overeating when it comes to your tea.
Well, I don't over-eat at all since I adhere to a healthy lifestyle but I do have moments of weakness when junk food gives off a dangerous glow that I can only put out by eating it ASAP. We are mere mortals, after all! So I suggested that trick to the sister because I thought her issue was more one of eating to fill time rather than to fill her stomach out of necessity. I find that eating out of boredom to be the biggest obstacle when you're monitoring your diet. It's definitely not a short-term fix but it does distract the mind from temptation.
Oh and, I am a fresh-fruit aficianado but NEVER vegetables. Unless they come in a burger, of course.
1200 calories is really low, are you starving yourself?
low?
Sister, around half an hour before you eat a meal drink a pin of water..thatll fill you right up.
and if you feel hungry drink milk, its filling..also stuff like bananas and apples..substitute that as a snack rather than more fatty things youre eating.
also are you just paranoid or is your weight average?
oh and the way i avoid eating is if im hungry i tell myself ill get fat if i eat more and it works..most of the time and theres nothing wrong with eating something that you enjoy, just dont eat tooooo much of it, but then dont deprive yourself of it totally either.

Our Lord! Verily, we have heard the call of one calling to Faith: 'Believe in your Lord,' and we have believed.
Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and expiate from us our evil deeds, and make us die (in the state of righteousness) along with Al-Abrar
