    Report bad ads?

    Assalamualaikum
I am a Muslimah Alhamdulilah and a hijabi too...I want to wear niqab now and I am miserable about it..as my family doesn't allow it,I am the only one to wear Hijab and was criticized badly about it... Thankfully my husband supports me only not his family either...I am sooo confused..please help me...How to convince people? I live with my in laws and they are nice towards me...I wonder my niqab would change their behavior towards me too..

    Re: New comer

No need to convince anyone. Your husband is supportive. It's enough.

    Re: New comer

    Wa'alaikum as'salaam,

    Welcome to the forum

ask your self why do you want to wear the niqab? is it for the sake of Allah, to draw even more closer to Him and away from duniya or is there another reason/influence making you go that route?

If you have family that criticize you for hijab then they will not be tolerant towards the niqaab, especially if they have to go out with you. If you and your husband had your own place then it would have been easier. Living with the in-laws makes it a bit difficult as they could make living home not so easy if they are against it. For now, might be best to just talk about the intention of wearing it and why and see what they say see if you can dispel their concerns.
