    Hello , I am a new member here :)

    Report bad ads?

After a long time i went to mosque in the evening yesterday and it felt good .

I was a theory sort of person . I even found it hard praying 5 times a day .

So for a start i decided to pray 1 time at least .

I decided the best time to pray for me was in the evenings .

I am planning to make that into a habit .

    Thanks

    Assalamualaikum and welcome!

Good start, as a theory person, you may like to observe how this habit changes you and understand what prayers schedule is for.

Re: Hello , I am a new member here :)

I went today too , same time to the same mosque .
And i am feeling awesome .I am feeling closer to god and during my prayer i was asking for forgiveness to all the sins, bad things i have done .

This motivated me to do my prayers at least one time a day instead of strictly following 5 times a day .

So the picture below helped me start my prayers .

    Attachment 6689

Yes , Praying two times in a mosque have already changed me .
It feels like i have become a bit more stricter person suddenly

    Thanks for the reply ,

I know this is not the hardest of tasks .
Going to the mosque and praying in the evening at least one time is more easy than praying alone too .

Asslam O Alaikum and welcome to the forum. You said that you were a theory person so remember one thing, there are two things that govern the human beings, one is his wit (Brain) and the other is his heart (also called usually as "qalb" that corresponds to love). In matters of religion, successful are those who don't rely on their brains and who follow their hearts. The human brain is very limited thing in matters of knowing or reaching to Allah SWT. Those who follow their hearts, always find Allah SWT while the brain keeps on doubting the realities which it cannot comprehend. Good start from your side and may Allah SWT help you in understanding the absolute realities. Again I will say, you decided the best time for praying is evening while Allah SWT says in Quran "Pray and remember Allah before the Sun rise and before the Sun set, which means praying in the morning and the middle prayer i.e., Asar Prayer (Salat Al Wustaa). Be sure, your start is good so you will reach excellency with time in shaa Allah. May Allah be with you.
    Stay blessed.

Re: Hello , I am a new member here :)

Thanks for the reply Saira Khan ,

I am 100% sure that there is God due to some patterns i see in the Quran itself .

I find it strange how everything in Quran looks and sounds like the humming of a mosquito .

"Surely Allah is not ashamed to set forth any parable- (that of) a gnat or any thing above that; then as for those who believe, they know that it is the truth from their Lord, and as for those who disbelieve, they say: What is it that Allah means by this parable: He causes many to err by it and many He leads aright by it! but He does not cause to err by it (any) except the transgressors," [Al-Baqara (The Cow) 26]
