No, i am not from KSA. It just happened that my fate have brought me here to the land of the Prophet Muhammad (saw) for the past two months... Alhamdulillah, God is Great.....
Hope to go for my first umrah in one or two weeks time, & at the moment my heart seems to be a little bit restless in anxiety. All kind of feelings mixed up into one...
I do hope to get some advice though from those who have actually been there. Transportation, accomodations, etc...
Thanks 4 the warm welcome. Some of u have initiated that there are some of the forummers who actually resided in KSA. Well, who are they? I'm not that frequent in this forum, so please pardon me if i said that i'm not aware of any....
Enough said, really the experience in KSA is very much exciting. I'm opening my eyes and my mind to the new culture here in KSA. The people, the food, the places, the whether, how shop's are closed each time during Adzan, how the sisters wear abaya in public...& it is very much charming of them. To safeguard their modesty from the gaze of other people. Subhanallah....
KSA Rocks! Its the best country in the world. I love KSA!
Welcome. You are a special guest.
The people who cry about freedom are slaves to their own desires. I am a slave of my Exalted and Merciful Rabb, Allah, Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. Alhamdulillah
Well I do have one question though. It's about the social ethics that is practise here. I dont want to offend somebody unintentionally out of ignorance....
How to do greetings, how to say thank you and things like that....
Why do i have this kind of feelings that the Saudi's here are not very receptive of the foreigners? I might be wrong, but, from my observation they do to be a little bit suspicious of the foreigners, esp those from Asia.......?
