An Explanation of 'Umdat al-Ahkam by 'Abd al-Ghani al-Maqdisi (d.600 AH)
'Umdat al-Ahkam is one of the most famous and widely studied books in the world. It is a compilation of ahadeeth pertaining to ahkam (judicial rulings), mostly based on the two authoratative sources of Prophetic traditions, Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim.
