The wait is over! Islam Channel brings back to you the long awaited Global Peace & Unity Event. This year it’s even more spectacular, with a vision which is ahead of its time.
The Global Peace & Unity event, the first of its kind originated in Europe, was organised to highlight and promote the need for global peace and unity among Britain’s varied and distinct communities.
This family event also seeks to break barriers and open bridges between the variety of cultures and groups that follow the Islamic faith, as well as with other communities with whom we share our space.
The Global Peace & Unity Event aims:
# To provide a platform for entertainment and knowledge.
# To encourage understanding and positive interaction between the Muslims and Non Muslims.
# To introduce the British Muslims and Non Muslims to the true face of Islam.
# Dispel the myths surrounding the Islamic faith and to promote dialogue.

# To promote Muslim businesses, Islamic culture and art.

And Sooto bhai, we sat segregated, however there is a section in the middle where families can sit with eachother ... but yeah we found that slightly strange too!
LOL.....I really doubt "Imam of Ka'bah" will be there because that's exactly what they said las year.

Ohhh....Now I get it. I MIGHT go....But then again...I might not be in the mood for such things. lol I've even made a list of Nasheeds and lectures I've been wanting to listen to for the past 5 months....now I only listen to Quran...I think everyone else who is doing hiz shud do the same...It really helps

yeah i remember last year i was in da queue for like 2 hours man.......even thou we bought home lunch e.g sandwiches and stuff.....but still our poor stomach wasnt filled...lol.....
but personally i think dr zakir naik, ahmad bukatir, kamal uddin and zain bhika were da best. performers....it woken everybody up...esp dr zakir naik......
have u guys heard that its a two day event it will cover one ticket price which is 15 pound...well thats worth it i guess.....
