The currency at the time was dinar, but I don’t know the name of his servant.
I came across mention of someone called Malik ibn Dinar, who was the son of a Persian slave called Dinar, but couldn’t find a mention of his father Dinar.
There was also someone called Abdullah Ibn Dinar, who was a narrator in some ahadith, who it seems was one of the servants of Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both). As Umar Ibn Abdul Aziz was a great grandson of Umar Ibn al Khattab (may Allah be pleased with them both), maybe there is a connection with Abdullah ibn Dinar through that?
