My kunya is Abu Mundhir. I witnessed the 'aqabah pledge and the battle of Badr. I am one of the most knowledgeable in the Quran. Many companions have narrated hadith from me. The Prophet, peace be upn him, once asked if he could read a surah to me and he did. On another occasion, I was also asked by the Prophet, peace be upon him, about the greatest verse in the Quran, and i answered it correctly. He hit my chest and praised me.
ok, I'll do one since no one else is....
He was tall and extremely strong, his most outstanding quality was bravery. As the muslims invitation to others was difficult at the beginning, it needed powerful men to support it. For that reason, our Prophet Muhammad (saw) asked Allah to make Islam strong by the acceptance of Islam of one of two particular man. Allah responded to Muhammad (saw) by making this man accept Islam. It was an astonishing thing to happen and a reward to the muslims for their patience.

I'm a Mukhadhram who died in a foreign land and buried there, and the Prophet peace be upon him made salaat janaazah for me in Medinah, whilst I was being buried in my country. Who am I?
*Mukhadhram : someone who became a Muslim during the era of Muhammad peace be upon him, but did not ever meet him in person, unlike a Sahabi who is someone who became a Muslim during the era of the Prophet and met him in person
