Please note it, I say it in the light of the Qu'aan and the Sunnah that many Muslims in the past practiced all rituals and dhikar but got destroyed with disobedient habitations only because they didn't do amar bil ma'roof (enjoining good) and nahee a'nil-munkar (forbidding evil).

45 a. The Holy Quraan has great rights on us. We must understand its meanings and tafseer. Also we must try to recyte it with full concentration every day. Quraan also has the right on us to recite it completely at least twice a year although the companions radiyallaho anhum used to finish it every month.
45 b. Following the commands of Allah as given in the Quraan like hijab for women and ghadul-basar (keeping one's gaze away from the opposite sex. Al-hyaa'o shatrul-eemaan/ Al-hayaa'o nisful-eemaan. This controlling of our looks also include not looking to the pictures of the opposite sex on TV, internet, mobiles or even in magazines.
