I dont know about Indonesia, but in Malaysia, Bahasa Indonesia is considered part of Malay Language. U can answer Malay Language paper at school using Bahasa Indonesia words.

Tapi berita tsunami ini dipandang ringan di Malaysia, begitu juga berita serangan Israel di Lebanon. Mungkin karena, berita pernikahan Siti Nurhaliza mendominasi semua koran.
But the tsunami news were not really being cautious in Malaysia, so does the Israeli attacks on Lebanon news. Maybe because, the news of Siti Nurhaliza's wedding dominates all newspapers.

di indonesia siti nurhaliza sama sekali tidak terdengar. aku saja baru tahu sewaktu dia datang ke indonesia beberapa hari lalu.
untungnya,,indonesia punya Metro TV, bagi aku itu salah satu saluran televisi berita terbaik di indonesia. seperti CNN di amerika.
aku selalu mengikuti berita-berita internasional di program World News nya.
walaupun TV tersebut menyatakan dirinya sebagai TV demokrasi, tapi kalau aku lihat mereka tetap konsisten pada kedaulatan negara indonesia dan agama islam sebagai agama dominan di sini.
mereka menyapaikan keberatan mereka secara halus atas penyerangan israel pada palestina dan lebanon. dan mereka juga paling cepat dalam merespon berita bencana alam dan pengiriman bantuan.

luckely,,we have Metro TV channel, for me it's a one of the best news channel TV in indonesia. like CNN in America.
eventough the station TV call them self as democracy TV, but if I look again they still consist in united of indonesia and islam as dominan religion in here.
they can deliver their rejection in smoothly to israel about their invation to palestine and lebanon. and they also fast to response of natural disaster news and quick to send for help.

Saya kepingin sekali Malaysia mempunyai saluran televisi seperti Metro Tv atau CNN.
I would love to see Malaysia to have a tv channel like Metro TV or Al Jazeera.
