I have a Muslim girl friend (I spent Like 10mins trying to word that she is not my girlfriend like we date, but is a Muslim girl who is my friend through my sister, I consider her to be like my younger sister, but anyway)
She came over and I said to her "Mashallah thats a very lovely Hijab you are wearing" or something like that. And later my sister who is a older than her told me that, she started wear it a lot more often. As she was a little shy about it before.
And I meant it.
Mashallh, when Muslim women wear the Hijab and wear it properly, there seems to be a glow about them. I honestly believe that it is more a attractive when a Muslim women wears a Hijab and wears it properly than when she shows off her any of her hair, and I cant quite pin point why...maybe its the modesty it shows?
So dont give into the media about Hijabs being oppresive, they arent at all. And dont be shy about it.
If you are wearing it properly I am sure it is lovely on you to.
The eyes are a doorway to the heart, so safeguard your gaze from women who are unrelated to you.

So seek the one with Din- May you then be prosperous"" (Rawah ul Iman Bukhari wa Muslim An Abu Hurayrah Radi Allah o Anho)
