Why We Gota Follow The Sunnah!!!!

    Report bad ads?

    salaam

    Bismillah Ir Rahman Nir Raheem

    elo ello

now now theres bare people that reject the hadiths and stuff, this posts for you wannabes naa lol it jus shows the importance of stickin to the sunnah and how we have to follow it

Allah (swt) says in the Quran ........

    in Surah Nisa V80

"He who obeys the Messenger (Muhammad (PBUH)), has indeed obeyed Allah.''

now this ayah is propa important cos its heavy and it says listen 2 RasoolAllah (saw) and u listen 2 Allah (swt)

also in surah Al Imran v 31 it says

"Say (O Muhammad (PBUH) to mankind): `If you (really) love Allah then follow me (i.e., accept Islamic Monotheism, follow the Qur'an and the Sunnah), Allah will love you and forgive you of your sins"

so to obey & to follow RasoolAllah (saw) is only to listen to his sunnah & stuff

theres many ayahs in the Quran which show we gota follow the sunnah i.e //

in surah an Najm v4 Allah (swt) says...

"Nor does he speak of (his own) desire. It is only a Revelation that is revealed.''

"And whatsoever the Messenger (Muhammad (PBUH)) gives you, take it; and whatsoever he forbids you, abstain (from it)". (59:7)

"Indeed in the Messenger of Allah (Muhammad (PBUH)) you have a good example to follow for him who hopes for (the Meeting with) Allah and the Last Day...'' (33:21)

"But no, by your Rubb, they can have no Faith, until they make you (O Muhammad (PBUH)) judge in all disputes between them, and find in themselves no resistance against your decisions, and accept (them) with full submission". (4:65)

"(And) if you differ in anything amongst yourselves, refer it to Allah and His Messenger (PBUH)". (4:59)

"And verily, you (O Muhammad (PBUH)) are indeed guiding (mankind) to the Straight Path (i.e., Allah's Deen of Islamic Monotheism):. (42:52)

"And let those who oppose the Messenger's (Muhammad (PBUH)) commandment (i.e., his Sunnah -- legal ways, orders, acts of worship, statements) (among the sects), beware, lest some Fitnah (disbelief, trials, afflictions, earthquakes, killing, overpowered by a tyrant) should befall them or a painful torment be inflicted on them.'' (24:63)

"And remember (O you the members of the Prophet's family, the Graces of your Rubb), that which is recited in your houses of the Verses of Allah and Al-Hikmah (i.e., Prophet's Sunnah -- legal ways, so give your thanks to Allah and glorify His Praises for this Qur'an and the Sunnah).'' (33:34)

now now on to the hadiths ......

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (PBUH) said, "Do not ask me unnecessarily about the details of the things which I do not mention to you. Verily, the people before you were doomed because they were used to putting many questions to their Prophets and had differences about their Prophets. Refrain from what I forbid you and do what I command you to the best of your ability and capacity".
    [Bukhari &Muslim]

this hadiths shows that we shouldt Q whats revealed, der shouldnt be any ifs, buts, cos that way ders alwyz gona b dis unity & differences and people are gona be split and believe that they are right, but der can only be one rite way not loads of rite ways, so thats why me says NO SECTS!! JUS 1 UMMAH inshallah 1 day

Irbad bin Sariyah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: One day Messenger of Allah (PBUH) delivered us a very eloquent Khutbah on account of which eyes shed tears and hearts were full of tears. A man said: "O Prophet of Allah, this is as if it were a parting advice. So advise us". He (PBUH) said, "I admonish you to fear Allah, to listen and obey even if an Abyssinian slave is appointed as your leader. Because whosoever among you shall live after me, will see much discord. So hold fast to my Sunnah and the examples of the Rightly-Guided Caliphs who will come after me. Adhere to them and hold to it fast. Beware of new things (in Deen) because every Bid`ah is a misguidance".
    [Abu Dawud and At-Tirmidhi]

again this hadith shows the importance of stickin to and followin the sunnah of RasoolAllah (saw) and it shows any bidah into the religion is wrong

Abu Musa (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "The similitude of guidance and knowledge with which Allah has sent me is like a rain which has fallen on some ground. A fertile part of earth has absorbed water and brought forth much grass and herbs. Another part, which is solid, held the water and Allah benefits men thereby, who drank and gave others to drink, and used it for irrigation. But some of it has fallen on a portion of sandy land which neither retains the water nor produces herbage. Such is the likeness of the man who understands the religion of Allah and who gets benefit of what Allah has sent me with; he learns and teaches others. It is also the likeness of the man who neither raises his head on that account (meaning he does not benefit from what the Prophet (PBUH) was sent with) nor accepts Allah's Guidance with which I am sent".
    [Al-Bukhari&Muslim]

dis hadiths encourages us 2 gain knowleg & teach it & benefit ourselfs from it

Jabir (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "My parable and that of yours is like a man who kindled a fire. When it has illuminated all around him, the moths and grasshoppers began to fall therein. He tried to push them away, but they overcame him and jumped into it. I am catching hold of your waists ties (to save you) from fire, but you slip away from my hands".
    [Muslim]

the hadiths is sayin by followin the sunnah & Quran, we will be save, but if we dnt den we will be slippin away

hope this posts helps ya lot all

may ya all be showered with Allah (swt) blessins ameen

Re: Why We Gota Follow The Sunnah!!!!

"Do not accept anything that you have no knowledge of. Surely the hearing, the sight and the mind you are responsible for." (Quran, 17:36)

"And the example of those who reject is that who REPEATS only what he hears of calls and sounds. Deaf, dumb, and blind; they do not understand" (Quran 2:171)

"If we revealed this Quran to a mountain, you would see it trembling, crumbling, out of reverence for GOD. We cite these examples for the people, that they may THINK." (Quran, 59:21)

    I consider this hadith authentic:

"The prophet said:'Do not write anything from me EXCEPT QURAN. Whoever wrote, must destroy it" (Muslim, Zuhd 72; Hanbel3/12,21,39)

Bukhari relied upon the self-invented art of "Transmission" for which he states that a "Hadith" may be accepted as authentic or rejected based on WHOM the Hadith is coming from.

Bukhari made a study of the Prophet's companions and established that they were all trustworthy. He then asked about people who came after them, and if the public "hearsay" was that this or that person was reputable, then Bukhari had no problem accepting a "Hadith" transmitted from that source.

To get over the obstacle of "objectivity" and the fact that Hadith was based mainly on "hearsay", Bukhari found a very convenient Hadith (which Islamic scholars still quote) that gives the companions of the prophet and all Hadith narrators super-human abilities which enabled them to memorize word for word the sayings of the prophet without loss or distortion.

Although the above may not sound scientific or even objective to many, it is a factual method which was used to obtain the 2nd source of Islamic law.

Hence, I see no verification for the Hadith. I'm not denying that we have to follow what Muhammad (SAW) did or said, but how can you prove that he did do or say such things?

"Shall I seek OTHER THAN THE GOD as a source of law, when He has revealed THIS BOOK FULLY DETAILED? ....The word of your Lord is COMPLETE, in truth and justice. Nothing shall abrogate His words; He is the hearer, the omniscient. Yet, if you obey the majority of people, they will take you away from the path of The God. That is because they follow CONJECTURE, and they fail to think." (Quran, 6:114-116)

"And We have sent down the Book to you as a CLARITY FOR EVERYTHING, and a guidance and mercy and good news for those who Submit." (Quran 16:89)

By the Book that makes THINGS CLEAR (Quran : 44.2)

Say: "Shall I seek for judge other than God? - when He it is Who hath sent unto you the Book, EXPLAINED IN DETAIL." (Quran : 6.114)

God has revealed the most beautiful Message in the form of a Book, CONSISTENT WITH ITSELF repeating itself in various ways (Quran : 39.23)

And pursue not that of which thou hast no knowledge; for every act of hearing, or of seeing or of REASONING will be enquired into (Quran : 17.36).

Do they not consider the Qur'an (with care)? Had it been from other Than God, they would surely have found therein MANY CONTRADICTIONS (Quran : 4.82).

Blessed is He who sent down THE CRITERIA to His servant, that it may be an admonition to all creatures (Quran : 25.1)

Also, I'd like to mention that, until the advent of Bukhari's existence, the Caliphs had absolutely forbidden anyone from writing down any hadith. The prophet (SAW) not only had forbidden others from painting his picture or making a statue of him, he also prohibited anyone from writing down anything he said. Unfortunately, Bukhari did not consider that this applies to the Sahaba, he wrote down what was allegedly said by them.

What we are to follow is what we all know he obviously did without dispute.

Yes, follow the sunnah, by all means, but don't blindly believe in every hadith.

I'd like to quote one of the funniest and baseless hadiths I've come across:

    Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet said, 'The (people of) Bani Israel used to take bath naked (all together) looking at each other. The Prophet Moses used to take a bath alone. They said, 'By Allah! Nothing prevents Moses from taking a bath with us except that he has a scrotal hernia.' So once Moses went out to take a bath and put his clothes over a stone and then that stone ran away with his clothes. Moses followed that stone saying, "My clothes, O stone! My clothes, O stone! Till the people of Bani Israel saw him and said, 'By Allah, Moses has got no defect in his body. Moses took his clothes and began to beat the stone." Abu Huraira added, "By Allah! There are still six or seven marks present on the stone from that excessive beating."
I wonder how Abu Huraira knew that, or that the prophet (SAW) knew that customs and traditions of the Bani Israel, along with this incident which allegedly occured thousands of years ago. Not only does it slander Musa (AHS), there's no basis for it in any Biblical or Qur'anic tradition.

    Another one:

    Narrated Abu Dhar:
The Prophet asked me at sunset, "Do you know where the sun goes (at the time of sunset)?" I replied, "Allah and His Apostle know better." He said, "It goes (i.e. travels) till it prostrates Itself underneath the Throne and takes the permission to rise again, and it is permitted and then (a time will come when) it will be about to prostrate itself but its prostration will not be accepted, and it will ask permission to go on its course but it will not be permitted, but it will be ordered to return whence it has come and so it will rise in the west. And that is the interpretation of the Statement of Allah: "And the sun Runs its fixed course for a term (decreed). That is The Decree of (Allah) The Exalted in Might, The All-Knowing." (36.38)
And they are, of course, from Sahih Bukhari, considered the "most authentic source" for Sunni Muslims after the noble Qur'an.

“The adulterer and the adulteress, scourge ye each one of them (with) a hundred stripes. And let not pity for the twain withhold you from obedience to Allah, if ye believe in Allah and the Last Day. And let a party of believers witness their punishment. The adulterer shall not marry save an adulteress or an idolatress, and the adulteress none shall marry save an adulterer or an idolater. All that is forbidden unto believers.” Qur'an 24:3-3
