LI has reached a stage where we can no longer pay for the server out of our own pocket expenses.
The annual server costs amount to $1600 excluding the vbulletin fees.
However, we only need to gather $650 for the next couple of months as we will continue paying for the server costs starting October, insha'Allaah.
Allaah (Exalted is He) says in Soorah Al-Muzzammeel:
"Lend unto Allaah a goodly Loan. Whatever good you shall forward on your behalf, you shall find it with Allaah, as better and richer in reward."
Remember, brothers and sisters, that whatever we spend on ourselves here and now are only for our temporary sustenance while whatever we give in the way of Allaah is an eternal investment that provided everlasting sustenance. By donating, even if it's $1, you are keeping the site alive so that we can continue inviting to the way of Allaah.
We are nearly 3/4 of the way to the needed amount. If each of us who is active here would turn loose of our pocket change it will be enough.
It is not fair of us to leave the support of the forum as the responsibility of a small number of people. Those of us who use it on a regular basis should be honored to help support it.
We have managed, Alhamdullillaah, to achieve our goal.
We would like to thank the members and the guests who have donated to keep the forum and site alive. We ask Allaah that He place this noble effort on the scale of their good deeds on the Day of Judgement and we ask Allaah that he guides the non-Muslims who have donated to the light of Islaam.
