    Re: praying

    Asalaamu Alaikum,

The Prophet(pbuh) said: “Whoever offers a prayer in which he does not recite Umm al-Kitab (Literally: Mother of the Scripture), it is defective” [Muslim]

This shows the importance of a proper recitation of surah Al Fatihah. I recommend you to memorize the opening surah and know it's meanings if you haven't already. If you're in the middle of your salat and only remember a few lines of Surah Al Fatihah, recite what you know because the Prophet(pbuh) said: “Whatever you know of Qur’an, recite it, otherwise praise Allah, proclaim His Oneness and magnify Him.” [Abu Dawud]

I don't think it would be a problem to read while in salah when you don't know the words. And Allah knows best.

    Re: praying

Once you have memorised the surah you will hear the beauty of it while reciting Insha'Allah. May Allah reward you and make it easy for you to understand and memorize quran.

Only Allah guides, you can spread the message of Islam but you can't have them become Muslim unless Allah wills. Also you should learn Al-Fatihah quickly but a week has passed hopefully you learnt is all
