I miss prayers sometimes due to feeling physically unwell or tired and due to work sometimes. I wanted to know how I can make up these missed prayers of if there is a way to make up these prayers.
In summary : If you misses salaat due to forgetting or falling asleep, you can make it up as soon as you wake up or remember it.
If you skip salaat for other reasons, you are sinning. You need to repent, guard yourself from repeating the sin and offer a lot of nafl salaat as well as other good deeds.
Try to offer each obligatory salaat on time. It's the first thing you will be held accountable on Judgement Day.
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (ﷺ), who said:
Allah (mighty and sublime be He) says: The first of his actions for which a servant of Allah will be held accountable on the Day of Resurrection will be his salaat.
If they are in order, then he will have prospered and succeeded: and if they are wanting, then he will have failed and lost.
If there is something defective in his obligatory salat, the Lord (glorified and exalted be He) will say:
See if My servant has any supererogatory salaat with which may be completed that which was defective in his obligatory salaat.
Then the rest of his actions will be judged in like fashion. Hadith Qudsi, at-Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, an-Nasa'i, Ibn Majah and Ahmad
Jabir bin 'Abdullah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said:'A slave (of Allah) shall not believe until he believes in Al-Qadar, its good and its bad, such that he knows that what struck him would not have missed him, and that what missed him would not have struck him." (Jami 'at Tirmidhi)
