86) Sūrat Aţ-Ţāriq

086.013 Lo! this (Qur'an) is a conclusive word,

إِنَّه ُُ لَقَوْل ٌ فَصْل

2) Sūrat Al-Baqarah

002.002 This is the Scripture whereof there is no doubt, a guidance unto those who ward off (evil).

ذَلِكَ الْكِتَابُ لاَ رَيْبَ ۛ فِيه ِِ ۛ هُدى ً لِلْمُتَّقِينَ

60) Sūrat Al-Mumtaĥanah

060.004 There is a goodly pattern for you in Abraham and those with him, when they told their folk: Lo! we are guiltless of you and all that ye worship beside Allah. We have done with you. And there hath arisen between us and you hostility and hate for ever until ye believe in Allah only - save that which Abraham promised his father (when he said): I will ask forgiveness for thee, though I own nothing for thee from Allah - Our Lord! In Thee we put our trust, and unto Thee we turn repentant, and unto Thee is the journeying.


قَدْ كَانَتْ لَكُمْ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَة ٌ فِي إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَالَّذِينَ مَعَهُ~ُ إِذْ قَالُوا لِقَوْمِهِمْ إِنَّا بُرَآءُ مِنْكُمْ وَمِمَّا تَعْبُدُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ كَفَرْنَا بِكُمْ وَبَدَا بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمُ الْعَدَاوَةُ وَالْبَغْضَاءُ أَبَداً حَتَّى تُؤْمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَحْدَهُ~ُ إِلاَّ قَوْلَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ لِأَبِيه ِِ لَأَسْتَغْفِرَنَّ لَكَ وَمَا أَمْلِكُ لَكَ مِنَ اللَّهِ مِنْ شَيْء ٍ ۖ رَبَّنَا عَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْنَا وَإِلَيْكَ أَنَبْنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ

12) Sūrat Yūsuf

012.006 Thus thy Lord will prefer thee and will teach thee the interpretation of events, and will perfect His grace upon thee and upon the family of Jacob as He perfected it upon thy forefathers, Abraham and Isaac. Lo! thy Lord is Knower, Wise.

وَكَذَلِكَ يَجْتَبِيكَ رَبُّكَ وَيُعَلِّمُكَ مِنْ تَأْوِيلِ الأَحَادِيثِ وَيُتِمُّ نِعْمَتَه ُُ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَى آلِ يَعْقُوبَ كَمَا أَتَمَّهَا عَلَى أَبَوَيْكَ مِنْ قَبْلُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْحَاقَ ۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيم

16) Sūrat An-Naĥl

016.012 And He hath constrained the night and the day and the sun and the moon to be of service unto you, and the stars are made subservient by His command. Lo! herein indeed are portents for people who have sense.


وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ وَالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ ۖ وَالنُّجُومُ مُسَخَّرَات ٌ بِأَمْرِهِ~ِ ۗ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَات ٍ لِقَوْم ٍ يَعْقِلُونَ

50) Sūrat Qāf

050.016 We verily created man and We know what his soul whispereth to him, and We are nearer to him than his jugular vein.


وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الإِنسَانَ وَنَعْلَمُ مَا تُوَسْوِسُ بِه ِِ نَفْسُه ُُ ۖ وَنَحْنُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ حَبْلِ الْوَرِيدِ

5) Sūrat Al-Mā'idah

005.105 O ye who believe! Ye have charge of your own souls. He who erreth cannot injure you if ye are rightly guided. Unto Allah ye will all return; and then He will inform you of what ye used to do.

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا عَلَيْكُمْ أَنفُسَكُمْ ۖ لاَ يَضُرُّكُمْ مَنْ ضَلَّ إِذَا اهْتَدَيْتُمْ ۚ إِلَى اللَّهِ مَرْجِعُكُمْ جَمِيعا ً فَيُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

112) Sūrat Al-'Ikhlāş

112.001 Say: He is Allah, the One!

قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَد

96) Sūrat Al-`Alaq

096.001 Read: In the name of thy Lord Who createth,

اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ

81) Sūrat At-Takwīr

081.019 That this is in truth the word of an honoured messenger,

إِنَّه ُُ لَقَوْلُ رَسُول ٍ كَرِيم

081.020 Mighty, established in the presence of the Lord of the Throne,

ذِي قُوَّةٍ عِنْدَ ذِي الْعَرْشِ مَكِين

6) Sūrat Al-'An`ām



006.073 He it is Who created the heavens and the earth in truth. In the day when He saith: Be! it is. His Word is the Truth, and His will be the Sovereignty on the day when the trumpet is blown. Knower of the Invisible and the Visible, He is the Wise, the Aware.


وَهُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ ۖ وَيَوْمَ يَقُولُ كُنْ فَيَكُونُ ۚ قَوْلُهُ الْحَقُّ ۚ وَلَهُ الْمُلْكُ يَوْمَ يُنفَخُ فِي الصُّورِ ۚ عَالِمُ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ ۚ وَهُوَ الْحَكِيمُ الْخَبِير

20) Sūrat Ţāhā

020.053 Who hath appointed the earth as a bed and hath threaded roads for you therein and hath sent down water from the sky and thereby We have brought forth divers kinds of vegetation,

الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الأَرْضَ مَهْدا ً وَسَلَكَ لَكُمْ فِيهَا سُبُلا ً وَأَنزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاء ً فَأَخْرَجْنَا بِهِ~ِ أَزْوَاجا ً مِنْ نَبَات ٍ شَتَّى

6) Sūrat Al-'An`ām

006.081 How should I fear that which ye set up beside Him, when ye fear not to set up beside Allah that for which He hath revealed unto you no warrant ? Which of the two factions hath more right to safety ? (Answer me that) if ye have knowledge.

وَكَيْفَ أَخَافُ مَا أَشْرَكْتُمْ وَلاَ تَخَافُونَ أَنَّكُمْ أَشْرَكْتُمْ بِاللَّهِ مَا لَمْ يُنَزِّلْ بِه ِِ عَلَيْكُمْ سُلْطَانا ً ۚ فَأَيُّ الْفَرِيقَيْنِ أَحَقُّ بِالأَمْنِ ۖ إِنْ كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ

114) Sūrat An-Nās

114.001 Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind,

قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ

28) Sūrat Al-Qaşaş

028.003 We narrate unto thee (somewhat) of the story of Moses and Pharaoh with truth, for folk who believe

نَتْلُو عَلَيْكَ مِنْ نَبَإِ مُوسَى وَفِرْعَوْنَ بِالْحَقِّ لِقَوْم ٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ

60) Sūrat Al-Mumtaĥanah

060.001 O ye who believe! Choose not My enemy and your enemy for allies. Do ye give them friendship when they disbelieve in that truth which hath come unto you, driving out the messenger and you because ye believe in Allah, your Lord ? If ye have come forth to strive in My way and seeking My good pleasure, (show them not friendship). Do ye show friendship unto them in secret, when I am Best Aware of what ye hide and what ye proclaim ? And whosoever doeth it among you, he verily hath strayed from the right way.

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لاَ تَتَّخِذُوا عَدُوِّي وَعَدُوَّكُمْ أَوْلِيَاءَ تُلْقُونَ إِلَيْهِمْ بِالْمَوَدَّةِ وَقَدْ كَفَرُوا بِمَا جَاءَكُمْ مِنَ الْحَقِّ يُخْرِجُونَ الرَّسُولَ وَإِيَّاكُمْ أَنْ تُؤْمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ رَبِّكُمْ إِنْ كُنتُمْ خَرَجْتُمْ جِهَادا ً فِي سَبِيلِي وَابْتِغَاءَ مَرْضَاتِي تُسِرُّونَ إِلَيْهِمْ بِالْمَوَدَّةِ وَأَنَا أَعْلَمُ بِمَا أَخْفَيْتُمْ وَمَا أَعْلَنتُمْ وَمَنْ يَفْعَلْهُ مِنْكُمْ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ سَوَاءَ السَّبِيلِ

6) Sūrat Al-'An`ām

006.111 And though We should send down the angels unto them, and the dead should speak unto them, and We should gather against them all things in array, they would not believe unless Allah so willed. Howbeit, most of them are ignorant.

وَلَوْ أَنَّنَا نَزَّلْنَا إِلَيْهِمُ الْمَلاَئِكَةَ وَكَلَّمَهُمُ الْمَوْتَى وَحَشَرْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ كُلَّ شَيْء ٍ قُبُلا ً مَا كَانُوا لِيُؤْمِنُوا إِلاَّ أَنْ يَشَاءَ اللَّهُ وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ يَجْهَلُونَ

67) Sūrat Al-Mulk

067.011 So they acknowledge their sins; but far removed (from mercy) are the dwellers in the flames.

فَاعْتَرَفُوا بِذَنْبِهِمْ فَسُحْقا ً لِأصْحَابِ السَّعِيرِ
