On the RoadtoJannah message board I typically post a Hadith of the Day and the Ayat of the Day. I see that there is already a Hadith of the Day thread here so inshAllah I intend to contribute to that. However, when doing a few searches on this board I could not find an Ayat of the Day thread, so I decided to make one. If there is one already please merge this and point me in the right direction inshAllah. Also if everyone could contribute that would be wonderful. Discussion, Ayats, anything inshAllah.

8. Al-Anfal (Spoils Of War, Booty)
Surah: 8 Aya: 16
Transliteration
16. Waman yuwallihim yawma-ithin duburahu illa mutaharrifan liqitalin aw mutahayyizan ila fi-atin faqad baa bighadabin mina Allahi wama/wahu jahannamu wabi/sa almaseeru
Translation
16. And whoever turns his back to them on such a day - unless it be a stratagem of war, or to retreat to a troop (of his own), - he indeed has drawn upon himself wrath from Allâh. And his abode is Hell, and worst indeed is that destination!
وَلَوْ عَلِمَ اللّٰهُ فِيْهِمْ خَيْرًا لَّاَسْمَعَهُمْ ۗ وَلَوْ اَسْمَعَهُمْ لَـتَوَلَّوْا وَّهُمْ مُّعْرِضُوْنَ
"Had Allah known any good in them, He would have made them hear. And if He had made them hear, they would [still] have turned away, while they were refusing."
(QS. Al-Anfaal 8: Verse 23)

ذٰلِكَ بِاَ نَّ اللّٰهَ لَمْ يَكُ مُغَيِّرًا نِّـعْمَةً اَنْعَمَهَا عَلٰى قَوْمٍ حَتّٰى يُغَيِّرُوْا مَا بِاَ نْفُسِهِمْ ۙ وَاَ نَّ اللّٰهَ سَمِيْعٌ عَلِيْمٌ ۙ
"That is because Allah would not change a favor which He had bestowed upon a people until they change what is within themselves. And indeed, Allah is Hearing and Knowing."
(QS. Al-Anfaal 8: Verse 53)
وَاِ نْ جَنَحُوْا لِلسَّلْمِ فَا جْنَحْ لَهَا وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللّٰهِ ۗ اِنَّهٗ هُوَ السَّمِيْعُ الْعَلِيْمُ
"And if they incline to peace, then incline to it [also] and rely upon Allah. Indeed, it is He who is the Hearing, the Knowing."

وَا لَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا بَعْضُهُمْ اَوْلِيَآءُ بَعْضٍ ۗ اِلَّا تَفْعَلُوْهُ تَكُنْ فِتْنَةٌ فِى الْاَ رْضِ وَفَسَا دٌ كَبِيْرٌ ۗ

O you who believe! Observing As-Saum (the fasting)[] is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may become Al-Muttaqûn (the pious - see V.2:2). (183) [Observing Saum (fasts)] for a fixed number of days, but if any of you is ill or on a journey, the same number (should be made up) from other days. And as for those who can fast with difficulty, (e.g. an old man), they have (a choice either to fast or) to feed a Miskîn (poor person) (for every day). But whoever does good of his own accord, it is better for him. And that you fast, is better for you if only you know.[] (184)
No disaster strikes except by permission of Allah . And whoever believes in Allah – He will guide his heart. And Allah is Knowing of all things. Quran 64:11
كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلْقِتَالُ وَهُوَ كُرْهٌ لَّكُمْ وَعَسَىٰٓ أَن تَكْرَهُوا۟ شَيْـًٔا وَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ وَعَسَىٰٓ أَن تُحِبُّوا۟ شَيْـًٔا وَهُوَ شَرٌّ لَّكُمْ وَٱللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ Transliteration:Kutiba AAalaykumu alqitalu wahuwa kurhun lakum waAAasa an takrahoo shayan wahuwa khayrun lakum waAAasa an tuhibboo shayan wahuwa sharrun lakum waAllahu yaAAlamu waantum la taAAlamoona Translation: Jihad (holy fighting in Allah's Cause) is ordained for you (Muslims) though you dislike it, and it may be that you dislike a thing which is good for you and that you like a thing which is bad for you. Allah knows but you do not know.
[Quran 2:216]
كَيْفَ وَاِ نْ يَّظْهَرُوْا عَلَيْكُمْ لَا يَرْقُبُوْا فِيْكُمْ اِلًّا وَّلَا ذِمَّةً ۗ يُرْضُوْنَـكُم ْ بِاَ فْوَاهِهِمْ وَتَأْبٰى قُلُوْبُهُمْ ۚ وَاَ كْثَرُهُمْ فٰسِقُوْنَ ۚ
"How [can there be a treaty] while, if they gain dominance over you, they do not observe concerning you any pact of kinship or covenant of protection? They satisfy you with their mouths, but their hearts refuse [compliance], and most of them are defiantly disobedient."
(QS. At-Tawba 9: Verse 8)

When the victory of Allah has come and the conquest, And you see the people entering into the religion of Allah in multitudes, Then exalt [Him] with praise of your Lord and ask forgiveness of Him. Indeed, He is ever Accepting of repentance. Quran 110
وَقَا لَتِ الْيَهُوْدُ عُزَيْرُ ٭ِبْنُ اللّٰهِ وَقَا لَتِ النَّصٰرَى الْمَسِيْحُ ابْنُ اللّٰهِ ۗ ذٰلِكَ قَوْلُهُمْ بِاَ فْوَاهِهِمْ ۚ يُضَاهِئُو ْنَ قَوْلَ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا مِنْ قَبْلُ ۗ قَا تَلَهُمُ اللّٰهُ ۚ اَنّٰى يُؤْفَكُوْنَ
"The Jews say, Ezra is the son of Allah ; and the Christians say, The Messiah is the son of Allah. That is their statement from their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved [before them]. May Allah destroy them; how are they deluded?"
(QS. At-Tawba 9: Verse 30)
يٰۤـاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا مَا لَـكُمْ اِذَا قِيْلَ لَـكُمُ انْفِرُوْا فِيْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ اثَّا قَلْـتُمْ اِلَى الْاَ رْضِ ۗ اَرَضِيْتُمْ بِا لْحَيٰوةِ الدُّنْيَا مِنَ الْاٰ خِرَةِ ۚ فَمَا مَتَا عُ الْحَيٰوةِ الدُّنْيَا فِى الْاٰ خِرَةِ اِلَّا قَلِيْلٌ
"O you who have believed, what is [the matter] with you that, when you are told to go forth in the cause of Allah, you adhere heavily to the earth? Are you satisfied with the life of this world rather than the Hereafter? But what is the enjoyment of worldly life compared to the Hereafter except a [very] little."
(QS. At-Tawba 9: Verse 38)
اِنَّمَا يَسْتَأْذِنُكَ الَّذِيْنَ لَا يُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِا للّٰهِ وَا لْيَوْمِ الْاٰ خِرِ وَا رْتَا بَتْ قُلُوْبُهُمْ فَهُمْ فِيْ رَيْبِهِمْ يَتَرَدَّدُوْنَ
"Only those would ask permission of you who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day and whose hearts have doubted, and they, in their doubt, are hesitating."
(QS. At-Tawba 9: Verse 45)
فَلَا تُعْجِبْكَ اَمْوَا لُهُمْ وَلَاۤ اَوْلَا دُهُمْ ۗ اِنَّمَا يُرِيْدُ اللّٰهُ لِيُعَذِّبَهُمْ بِهَا فِى الْحَيٰوةِ الدُّنْيَا وَتَزْهَقَ اَنْفُسُهُمْ وَهُمْ كٰفِرُوْنَ

"Our Lord! You have not created (all) this without purpose, glory to You! (Exalted be You above all that they associate with You as partners). Give us salvation from the torment of the Fire. *Our Lord! Verily, whom You admit to the Fire, indeed, You have disgraced him, and never will the Zaalimoon (polytheists and wrong-doers) find any helpers. *Our Lord! Verily, we have heard the call of one (Muhammad p.b.u.h.) calling to Faith: 'Believe in your Lord,' and we have believed. *Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and remit from us our evil deeds, and make us die in the state of righteousness along with Al-Abraar (those who are obedient to Allah and follow strictly His Orders). *Our Lord! Grant us what You promised unto us through Your Messengers and disgrace us not on the Day of Resurrection, for You never break (Your) Promise."
