On the RoadtoJannah message board I typically post a Hadith of the Day and the Ayat of the Day. I see that there is already a Hadith of the Day thread here so inshAllah I intend to contribute to that. However, when doing a few searches on this board I could not find an Ayat of the Day thread, so I decided to make one. If there is one already please merge this and point me in the right direction inshAllah. Also if everyone could contribute that would be wonderful. Discussion, Ayats, anything inshAllah.

8. Al-Anfal (Spoils Of War, Booty)
Surah: 8 Aya: 16
Transliteration
16. Waman yuwallihim yawma-ithin duburahu illa mutaharrifan liqitalin aw mutahayyizan ila fi-atin faqad baa bighadabin mina Allahi wama/wahu jahannamu wabi/sa almaseeru
Translation
16. And whoever turns his back to them on such a day - unless it be a stratagem of war, or to retreat to a troop (of his own), - he indeed has drawn upon himself wrath from Allâh. And his abode is Hell, and worst indeed is that destination!
وَمَنْ اَظْلَمُ مِمَّنْ ذُكِّرَ بِاٰ يٰتِ رَبِّهٖ فَاَ عْرَضَ عَنْهَا وَنَسِيَ مَا قَدَّمَتْ يَدٰهُ ۗ اِنَّا جَعَلْنَا عَلٰى قُلُوْبِهِمْ اَكِنَّةً اَنْ يَّفْقَهُوْهُ وَفِيْۤ اٰذَا نِهِمْ وَقْرًا ۗ وَاِ نْ تَدْعُهُمْ اِلَى الْهُدٰى فَلَنْ يَّهْتَدُوْۤا اِذًا اَبَدًا
"And who is more unjust than one who is reminded of the verses of his Lord but turns away from them and forgets what his hands have put forth? Indeed, We have placed over their hearts coverings, lest they understand it, and in their ears deafness. And if you invite them to guidance - they will never be guided, then - ever."
(QS. Al-Kahf 18: Verse 57)
قَا لُوْا يٰذَا الْقَرْنَيْنِ اِنَّ يَأْجُوْجَ وَمَأْجُوْجَ مُفْسِدُوْنَ فِى الْاَ رْضِ فَهَلْ نَجْعَلُ لَكَ خَرْجًا عَلٰۤى اَنْ تَجْعَلَ بَيْنَـنَا وَبَيْنَهُمْ سَدًّا
"They said, O Dhul-Qarnayn, indeed Gog and Magog are [great] corrupters in the land. So may we assign for you an expenditure that you might make between us and them a barrier?"
(QS. Al-Kahf 18: Verse 94)
Those who (in charity) spend of their goods by night and by day, in secret and in public, have their reward with their Lord: on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve
قُلْ لَّوْ كَا نَ الْبَحْرُ مِدَا دًا لِّـكَلِمٰتِ رَبِّيْ لَـنَفِدَ الْبَحْرُ قَبْلَ اَنْ تَـنْفَدَ كَلِمٰتُ رَبِّيْ وَلَوْ جِئْنَا بِمِثْلِهٖ مَدَدًا
"Say, If the sea were ink for [writing] the words of my Lord, the sea would be exhausted before the words of my Lord were exhausted, even if We brought the like of it as a supplement."
(QS. Al-Kahf 18: Verse 109)
فَخَرَجَ عَلٰى قَوْمِهٖ مِنَ الْمِحْرَا بِ فَاَ وْحٰۤى اِلَيْهِمْ اَنْ سَبِّحُوْا بُكْرَةً وَّعَشِيًّا
"So he came out to his people from the prayer chamber and signaled to them to exalt [Allah] in the morning and afternoon."

Whoso obeyeth Allah and the messenger, they are with those unto whom Allah hath shown favour, of the prophets and the saints and the martyrs and the righteous
Allah hath heard the saying of her that disputeth with thee (Muhammad) concerning her husband, and complaineth unto Allah. And Allah heareth your colloquy. Lo! Allah is Hearer, Knower.
Such of you as put away your wives (by saying they are as their mothers) - They are not their mothers; none are their mothers except those who gave them birth - they indeed utter an ill word and a lie. And lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
Those who put away their wives (by saying they are as their mothers) and afterward would go back on that which they have said, (the penalty) in that case (is) the freeing of a slave before they touch one another. Unto this ye are exhorted; and Allah is Informed of what ye do.
مَا كَا نَ لِلّٰهِ اَنْ يَّتَّخِذَ مِنْ وَّلَدٍ ۙ سُبْحٰنَهٗ ۗ اِذَا قَضٰۤى اَمْرًا فَاِ نَّمَا يَقُوْلُ لَهٗ كُنْ فَيَكُوْنُ ۗ
"It is not [befitting] for Allah to take a son; exalted is He! When He decrees an affair, He only says to it, Be, and it is."
