I see that there is already a Hadith of the Day thread here so inshAllah I intend to contribute to that. However, when doing a few searches on this board I could not find an Ayat of the Day thread, so I decided to make one. If there is one already please merge this and point me in the right direction inshAllah. Also if everyone could contribute that would be wonderful. Discussion, Ayats, anything inshAllah.

Surah: 8 Aya: 16
Transliteration
16. Waman yuwallihim yawma-ithin duburahu illa mutaharrifan liqitalin aw mutahayyizan ila fi-atin faqad baa bighadabin mina Allahi wama/wahu jahannamu wabi/sa almaseeru
Translation
16. And whoever turns his back to them on such a day - unless it be a stratagem of war, or to retreat to a troop (of his own), - he indeed has drawn upon himself wrath from Allâh. And his abode is Hell, and worst indeed is that destination!
وَكَمْ اَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُمْ مِّنْ قَرْنٍ ۗ هَلْ تُحِسُّ مِنْهُمْ مِّنْ اَحَدٍ اَوْ تَسْمَعُ لَهُمْ رِكْزًا
"And how many have We destroyed before them of generations? Do you perceive of them anyone or hear from them a sound?"

فَتَعٰلَى اللّٰهُ الْمَلِكُ الْحَـقُّ ۚ وَلَا تَعْجَلْ بِا لْقُرْاٰ نِ مِنْ قَبْلِ اَنْ يُّقْضٰۤى اِلَيْكَ وَحْيُهٗ ۖ وَقُلْ رَّبِّ زِدْنِيْ عِلْمًا
"So high [above all] is Allah, the Sovereign, the Truth. And, [O Muhammad], do not hasten with [recitation of] the Qur'an before its revelation is completed to you, and say, My Lord, increase me in knowledge."
(QS. Taa-Haa 20: Verse 114)
وَلَا تَمُدَّنَّ عَيْنَيْكَ اِلٰى مَا مَتَّعْنَا بِهٖۤ اَزْوَا جًا مِّنْهُمْ زَهْرَةَ الْحَيٰوةِ الدُّنْيَا ۙ لِنَفْتِنَه ُمْ فِيْهِ ۗ وَرِزْقُ رَبِّكَ خَيْرٌ وَّاَبْقٰى
"And do not extend your eyes toward that by which We have given enjoyment to [some] categories of them, [its being but] the splendor of worldly life by which We test them. And the provision of your Lord is better and more enduring."
(QS. Taa-Haa 20: Verse 131)
Said a speaker among them, "Do not kill Joseph but throw him into the bottom of the well; some travelers will pick him up - if you would do [something]."
Then We made the sperm-drop into a clinging clot, and We made the clot into a lump [of flesh], and We made [from] the lump, bones, and We covered the bones with flesh; then We developed him into another creation. So blessed is Allah, the best of creators.
وَلُوْطًا اٰتَيْنٰهُ حُكْمًا وَّعِلْمًا وَّنَجَّيْنٰهُ مِنَ الْقَرْيَةِ الَّتِيْ كَا نَتْ تَّعْمَلُ الْخَبٰٓئِثَ ۗ اِنَّهُمْ كَا نُوْا قَوْمَ سَوْءٍ فٰسِقِيْنَ ۙ
"And to Lot We gave judgement and knowledge, and We saved him from the city that was committing wicked deeds. Indeed, they were a people of evil, defiantly disobedient."
(QS. Al-Anbiyaa 21: Verse 74)
There emerges from their bellies a drink, varying in colors, in which there is healing for people. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who give thought.
And your Lord inspired to the bee, “Take for yourself among the mountains, houses, and among the trees and [in] that which they construct. (Quran 16:68)
Then eat from all the fruits and follow the ways of your Lord laid down [for you]. There emerges from their bellies a drink, varying in colors, in which there is healing for people. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who give thought. (Quran 16:68)
وَاِ سْمٰعِيْلَ وَاِ دْرِيْسَ وَذَا الْكِفْلِ ۗ كُلٌّ مِّنَ الصّٰبِرِيْنَ ۙ
"And [mention] Ishmael and Idrees and Dhul-Kifl; all were of the patient."

يٰۤـاَيُّهَا النَّا سُ اِنْ كُنْـتُمْ فِيْ رَيْبٍ مِّنَ الْبَـعْثِ فَاِ نَّـا خَلَقْنٰكُمْ مِّنْ تُرَا بٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ نُّـطْفَةٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ عَلَقَةٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ مُّضْغَةٍ مُّخَلَّقَةٍ وَّغَيْرِ مُخَلَّقَةٍ لِّـنُبَيِّنَ لَـكُمْ ۗ وَنُقِرُّ فِى الْاَ رْحَا مِ مَا نَشَآءُ اِلٰۤى اَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ثُمَّ نُخْرِجُكُمْ طِفْلًا ثُمَّ لِتَبْلُغُوْۤا اَشُدَّكُمْ ۚ وَمِنْكُمْ مَّنْ يُّتَوَفّٰى وَمِنْكُمْ مَّنْ يُّرَدُّ اِلٰۤى اَرْذَلِ الْعُمُرِ لِكَيْلَا يَعْلَمَ مِنْۢ بَعْدِ عِلْمٍ شَيْـئًـا ۗ وَتَرَى الْاَ رْضَ هَا مِدَةً فَاِ ذَاۤ اَنْزَلْنَا عَلَيْهَا الْمَآءَ اهْتَزَّتْ وَرَبَتْ وَاَ نْۢبَـتَتْ مِنْ كُلِّ زَوْجٍۢ بَهِيْجٍ
"O People, if you should be in doubt about the Resurrection, then [consider that] indeed, We created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop, then from a clinging clot, and then from a lump of flesh, formed and unformed - that We may show you. And We settle in the wombs whom We will for a specified term, then We bring you out as a child, and then [We develop you] that you may reach your [time of] maturity. And among you is he who is taken in [early] death, and among you is he who is returned to the most decrepit [old] age so that he knows, after [once having] knowledge, nothing. And you see the earth barren, but when We send down upon it rain, it quivers and swells and grows [something] of every beautiful kind."
(QS. Al-Hajj 22: Verse 5)
اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يُدْخِلُ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ جَنّٰتٍ تَجْرِيْ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَ نْهٰرُ يُحَلَّوْنَ فِيْهَا مِنْ اَسَاوِرَ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ وَّلُـؤْلُـؤًا ۗ وَلِبَا سُهُمْ فِيْهَا حَرِيْرٌ
"Indeed, Allah will admit those who believe and do righteous deeds to gardens beneath which rivers flow. They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearl, and their garments therein will be silk."
(QS. Al-Hajj 22: Verse 23)
وَكَاَ يِّنْ مِّنْ قَرْيَةٍ اَمْلَيْتُ لَهَا وَهِيَ ظَا لِمَةٌ ثُمَّ اَخَذْتُهَا ۚ وَاِ لَيَّ الْمَصِيْرُ
"And for how many a city did I prolong enjoyment while it was committing wrong. Then I seized it, and to Me is the [final] destination."

وَاِ ذَا تُتْلٰى عَلَيْهِمْ اٰيٰـتُـنَا بَيِّنٰتٍ تَعْرِفُ فِيْ وُجُوْهِ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا الْمُنْكَرَ ۗ يَكَا دُوْنَ يَسْطُوْنَ بِا لَّذِيْنَ يَتْلُوْنَ عَلَيْهِمْ اٰيٰتِنَا ۗ قُلْ اَفَاُ نَبِّئُكُمْ بِشَرٍّ مِّنْ ذٰ لِكُمُ ۗ اَلنَّا رُ ۗ وَعَدَهَا اللّٰهُ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا ۚ وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيْرُ
"And when Our verses are recited to them as clear evidences, you recognize in the faces of those who disbelieve disapproval. They are almost on the verge of assaulting those who recite to them Our verses. Say, Then shall I inform you of [what is] worse than that? [It is] the Fire which Allah has promised those who disbelieve, and wretched is the destination."
(QS. Al-Hajj 22: Verse 72)
