On the RoadtoJannah message board I typically post a Hadith of the Day and the Ayat of the Day. I see that there is already a Hadith of the Day thread here so inshAllah I intend to contribute to that. However, when doing a few searches on this board I could not find an Ayat of the Day thread, so I decided to make one. If there is one already please merge this and point me in the right direction inshAllah. Also if everyone could contribute that would be wonderful. Discussion, Ayats, anything inshAllah.

8. Al-Anfal (Spoils Of War, Booty)
Surah: 8 Aya: 16
Transliteration
16. Waman yuwallihim yawma-ithin duburahu illa mutaharrifan liqitalin aw mutahayyizan ila fi-atin faqad baa bighadabin mina Allahi wama/wahu jahannamu wabi/sa almaseeru
Translation
16. And whoever turns his back to them on such a day - unless it be a stratagem of war, or to retreat to a troop (of his own), - he indeed has drawn upon himself wrath from Allâh. And his abode is Hell, and worst indeed is that destination!
اَمَّنْ يُّجِيْبُ الْمُضْطَرَّ اِذَا دَعَاهُ وَيَكْشِفُ السُّوْٓءَ وَيَجْعَلُكُمْ خُلَفَآءَ الْاَ رْضِ ۗ ءَاِلٰـهٌ مَّعَ اللّٰهِ ۗ قَلِيْلًا مَّا تَذَكَّرُوْنَ ۗ
"Is He [not best] who responds to the desperate one when he calls upon Him and removes evil and makes you inheritors of the earth? Is there a deity with Allah? Little do you remember."
(QS. An-Naml 27: Verse 62)
وَقُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ سَيُرِيْكُمْ اٰيٰتِهٖ فَتَعْرِفُوْنَهَا ۗ وَمَ ا رَبُّكَ بِغَا فِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُوْنَ
"And say, [All] praise is [due] to Allah. He will show you His signs, and you will recognize them. And your Lord is not unaware of what you do."
(QS. An-Naml 27: Verse 93)

وَاَ وْحَيْنَاۤ اِلٰۤى اُمِّ مُوْسٰۤى اَنْ اَرْضِعِيْهِ ۚ فَاِ ذَا خِفْتِ عَلَيْهِ فَاَ لْقِيْهِ فِى الْيَمِّ وَلَا تَخَا فِيْ وَلَا تَحْزَنِيْ ۚ اِنَّا رَآ دُّوْهُ اِلَيْكِ وَجٰعِلُوْهُ مِنَ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ
"And We inspired to the mother of Moses, Suckle him; but when you fear for him, cast him into the river and do not fear and do not grieve. Indeed, We will return him to you and will make him [one] of the messengers."
(QS. Al-Qasas 28: Verse 7)
وَاَ نْ اَ لْقِ عَصَا كَ ۗ فَلَمَّا رَاٰ هَا تَهْتَزُّ كَاَ نَّهَا جَآ نٌّ وَّلّٰى مُدْبِرًا وَّلَمْ يُعَقِّبْ ۗ يٰمُوْسٰۤى اَ قْبِلْ وَلَا تَخَفْ ۗ اِنَّكَ مِنَ الْاٰ مِنِيْنَ
"And [he was told], Throw down your staff. But when he saw it writhing as if it was a snake, he turned in flight and did not return. [Allah said], O Moses, approach and fear not. Indeed, you are of the secure."
(QS. Al-Qasas 28: Verse 31)
فَسُبۡحٰنَ الَّذِىۡ بِيَدِهٖ مَلَـكُوۡتُ كُلِّ شَىۡءٍ وَّاِلَيۡهِ تُرۡجَعُوۡنَ ﴿۸۳﴾
Therefor Glory be to Him in Whose hand is the dominion over all things! Unto Him ye will be brought back. ﴾83﴿
اِنَّا نَحۡنُ نُحۡىِ الۡمَوۡتٰى وَنَكۡتُبُ مَا قَدَّمُوۡا وَاٰثَارَهُمۡؕ وَكُلَّ شَىۡءٍ اَحۡصَيۡنٰهُ فِىۡۤ اِمَامٍ مُّبِيۡنٍ ﴿۱۲
Lo! We it is Who bring the dead to life. We record that which they send before (them, and their footprints. And all things We have kept in a clear Register. ﴾12
اِنَّكَ لَا تَهْدِيْ مَنْ اَحْبَبْتَ وَلٰـكِنَّ اللّٰهَ يَهْدِيْ مَنْ يَّشَآءُ ۗ وَهُوَ اَعْلَمُ بِا لْمُهْتَدِيْنَ
"Indeed, [O Muhammad], you do not guide whom you like, but Allah guides whom He wills. And He is most knowing of the [rightly] guided."

اللَّهمَّ رَبَّ السَّمَوَاتِ السَّبْعِ وَرَبَّ العَرْشِ العَظِيْمِ، رَبَّنَا وَرَبَّ كُلِّ شَيء، ٍ فَالِقَ الحَبِّ وَالنَّوَى، وَمُنَزِّلَ التَّوْرَاةِ وَالإِنْجِيْلِ، وَالفُرْقَانِ، أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ شَيءٍ أَنْتَ آخِذ ٌ بِنَاصِيَتِهِ. اللَّهمَّ أَنْتَ الأَوَّلُ فَلَيْسَ قَبْلَكَ شَيء، ٌ وَأَنْتَ الآخِرُ فَلَيْسَ بَعْدَكَ شَيء، ٌ وَأَنْتَ الظَّاهِرُ فَلَيْسَ فَوْقَكَ شَيء، ٌ وَأَنْتَ البَاطِنُ فَلَيْسَ دُوْنَكَ شَيء، ٌ اقْضِ عَنَّا الدَّيْنَ وَأَغْنِنَا مِنَ الفَقْر
‘O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and the exalted throne, our Lord and Lord of all things, Splitter of the seed and the date stone, Revealer of the Tawrah, the Injeel and the Furqan, I take refuge in You from the evil of all things You shall seize by the forelock (i.e. You have total mastery over). O Allah, You are The First so there is nothing before You and You are The Last so there is nothing after You.You are Aththahir so there is nothing above You and You are Al-Batin so there is nothing closer than You.Settle our debt for us and spare us from poverty.’
It is He Who expelled the infidels of the Book from their homes for their first assemblage, you did not imaginethat they would go forth and they thought that their fortresses would defend them against Allah. But thecommand of Allah came to them from whence they reckoned not, and it cast terror into their hearts that theydestroy their dwellings with their own hands and the hands of the muslims. Therefore, take heed, O you, witheyes!
Have you (O Muhammad ) not observed the hypocrites who say to their friends among the people of the Scripture who disbelieve: "(By Allah) If you are expelled, we (too) indeed will go out with you, and we shall never obey any one against you, and if you are attacked (in fight), we shall indeed help you." But Allah is Witness, that they verily, are liars.
اَحَسِبَ النَّا سُ اَنْ يُّتْرَكُوْۤا اَنْ يَّقُوْلُوْۤا اٰمَنَّا وَهُمْ لَا يُفْتَـنُوْنَ
"Do the people think that they will be left to say, We believe and they will not be tried?"
