On the RoadtoJannah message board I typically post a Hadith of the Day and the Ayat of the Day. I see that there is already a Hadith of the Day thread here so inshAllah I intend to contribute to that. However, when doing a few searches on this board I could not find an Ayat of the Day thread, so I decided to make one. If there is one already please merge this and point me in the right direction inshAllah. Also if everyone could contribute that would be wonderful. Discussion, Ayats, anything inshAllah.

8. Al-Anfal (Spoils Of War, Booty)
Surah: 8 Aya: 16
Transliteration
16. Waman yuwallihim yawma-ithin duburahu illa mutaharrifan liqitalin aw mutahayyizan ila fi-atin faqad baa bighadabin mina Allahi wama/wahu jahannamu wabi/sa almaseeru
Translation
16. And whoever turns his back to them on such a day - unless it be a stratagem of war, or to retreat to a troop (of his own), - he indeed has drawn upon himself wrath from Allâh. And his abode is Hell, and worst indeed is that destination!
وَقَا لَ الْمَلِكُ ائْتُوْنِيْ بِهٖ ۚ فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُ الرَّسُوْلُ قَا لَ ارْجِعْ اِلٰى رَبِّكَ فَسْـئَلْهُ مَا بَا لُ النِّسْوَةِ الّٰتِيْ قَطَّعْنَ اَيْدِيَهُنَّ ۗ اِنَّ رَبِّيْ بِكَيْدِهِنَّ عَلِيْمٌ
"And the king said, "Bring him to me." But when the messenger came to him, [Joseph] said, "Return to your master and ask him what is the case of the women who cut their hands. Indeed, my Lord is Knowing of their plan.""
(QS. Yusuf 12: Verse 50)
وَكَذٰلِكَ مَكَّنَّا لِيُوْسُفَ فِى الْاَ رْضِ ۚ يَتَبَوَّاُ مِنْهَا حَيْثُ يَشَآءُ ۗ نُصِيْبُ بِرَحْمَتِنَا مَنْ نَّشَآءُ ۚ وَلَا نُضِيْعُ اَجْرَ الْمُحْسِنِيْنَ
"And thus We established Joseph in the land to settle therein wherever he willed. We touch with Our mercy whom We will, and We do not allow to be lost the reward of those who do good."
(QS. Yusuf 12: Verse 56)
فَبَدَاَ بِاَ وْعِيَتِهِمْ قَبْلَ وِعَآءِ اَخِيْهِ ثُمَّ اسْتَخْرَجَهَا مِنْ وِّعَآءِ اَخِيْهِ ۗ كَذٰلِكَ كِدْنَا لِيُوْسُفَ ۗ مَا كَا نَ لِيَأْخُذَ اَخَاهُ فِيْ دِيْنِ الْمَلِكِ اِلَّاۤ اَنْ يَّشَآءَ اللّٰهُ ۗ نَرْفَعُ دَرَجٰتٍ مَّنْ نَّشَآءُ ۗ وَفَوْقَ كُلِّ ذِيْ عِلْمٍ عَلِيْمٌ
"So he began [the search] with their bags before the bag of his brother; then he extracted it from the bag of his brother. Thus did We plan for Joseph. He could not have taken his brother within the religion of the king except that Allah willed. We raise in degrees whom We will, but over every possessor of knowledge is one [more] knowing."
(QS. Yusuf 12: Verse 76)
وَرَفَعَ اَبَوَيْهِ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ وَخَرُّوْا لَهٗ سُجَّدًا ۚ وَقَا لَ يٰۤاَ بَتِ هٰذَا تَأْوِيْلُ رُءْيَايَ مِنْ قَبْلُ ۖ قَدْ جَعَلَهَا رَبِّيْ حَقًّا ۗ وَقَدْ اَحْسَنَ بِيْۤ اِذْ اَخْرَجَنِيْ مِنَ السِّجْنِ وَجَآءَ بِكُمْ مِّنَ الْبَدْوِ مِنْۢ بَعْدِ اَنْ نَّزَغَ الشَّيْطٰنُ بَيْنِيْ وَبَيْنَ اِخْوَتِيْ ۗ اِنَّ رَبِّيْ لَطِيْفٌ لِّمَا يَشَآءُ ۗ اِنَّهٗ هُوَ الْعَلِيْمُ الْحَكِيْمُ
"And he raised his parents upon the throne, and they bowed to him in prostration. And he said, "O my father, this is the explanation of my vision of before. My Lord has made it reality. And He was certainly good to me when He took me out of prison and brought you [here] from bedouin life after Satan had induced [estrangement] between me and my brothers. Indeed, my Lord is Subtle in what He wills. Indeed, it is He who is the Knowing, the Wise."
(QS. Yusuf 12: Verse 100)
اَللّٰهُ الَّذِيْ رَفَعَ السَّمٰوٰتِ بِغَيْرِ عَمَدٍ تَرَوْنَهَا ثُمَّ اسْتَوٰى عَلَى الْعَرْشِ وَسَخَّرَ الشَّمْسَ وَا لْقَمَرَ ۗ كُلٌّ يَّجْرِيْ لِاَ جَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ۗ يُدَبِّرُ الْاَ مْرَ يُفَصِّلُ الْاٰ يٰتِ لَعَلَّكُمْ بِلِقَآءِ رَبِّكُمْ تُوْقِنُوْنَ
"It is Allah who erected the heavens without pillars that you [can] see; then He established Himself above the Throne and made subject the sun and the moon, each running [its course] for a specified term. He arranges [each] matter; He details the signs that you may, of the meeting with your Lord, be certain."
(QS. Ar-Ra'd 13: Verse 2)
لَهٗ مُعَقِّبٰتٌ مِّنْۢ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهٖ يَحْفَظُوْنَهٗ مِنْ اَمْرِ اللّٰهِ ۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوْمٍ حَتّٰى يُغَيِّرُوْا مَا بِاَ نْفُسِهِمْ ۗ وَاِ ذَاۤ اَرَا دَ اللّٰهُ بِقَوْمٍ سُوْٓءًا فَلَا مَرَدَّ لَهٗ ۚ وَمَا لَهُمْ مِّنْ دُوْنِهٖ مِنْ وَّا لٍ
"For each one are successive [angels] before and behind him who protect him by the decree of Allah. Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves. And when Allah intends for a people ill, there is no repelling it. And there is not for them besides Him any patron."
(QS. Ar-Ra'd 13: Verse 11)
وَا لَّذِيْنَ صَبَرُوا ابْتِغَآءَ وَجْهِ رَبِّهِمْ وَاَ قَا مُوا الصَّلٰوةَ وَاَ نْفَقُوْا مِمَّا رَزَقْنٰهُمْ سِرًّا وَّعَلَا نِيَةً وَّيَدْرَءُوْنَ بِا لْحَسَنَةِ السَّيِّئَةَ اُولٰٓئِكَ لَهُمْ عُقْبَى الدَّا رِ
"And those who are patient, seeking the countenance of their Lord, and establish prayer and spend from what We have provided for them secretly and publicly and prevent evil with good - those will have the good consequence of [this] home -"
(QS. Ar-Ra'd 13: Verse 22)
كَذٰلِكَ اَرْسَلْنٰكَ فِيْۤ اُمَّةٍ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِهَاۤ اُمَمٌ لِّـتَتْلُوَاۡ عَلَيْهِمُ الَّذِيْۤ اَوْحَيْنَاۤ اِلَيْكَ وَ هُمْ يَكْفُرُوْنَ بِا لرَّحْمٰنِ ۗ قُلْ هُوَ رَبِّيْ لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ ۚ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَاِ لَيْهِ مَتَا بِ
"Thus have We sent you to a community before which [other] communities have passed on so you might recite to them that which We revealed to you, while they disbelieve in the Most Merciful. Say, "He is my Lord; there is no deity except Him. Upon Him I rely, and to Him is my return.""
(QS. Ar-Ra'd 13: Verse 30)
اَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا اَنَّا نَأْتِى الْاَ رْضَ نَـنْقُصُهَا مِنْ اَطْرَا فِهَا ۗ وَا للّٰهُ يَحْكُمُ لَا مُعَقِّبَ لِحُكْمِهٖ ۗ وَهُوَ سَرِيْعُ الْحِسَا بِ
"Have they not seen that We set upon the land, reducing it from its borders? And Allah decides; there is no adjuster of His decision. And He is swift in account."
(QS. Ar-Ra'd 13: Verse 41)
وَقَا لَ الشَّيْطٰنُ لَـمَّا قُضِيَ الْاَ مْرُ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ وَعَدَكُمْ وَعْدَ الْحَـقِّ وَوَعَدْتُّكُمْ فَاَ خْلَفْتُكُمْ ۗ وَمَا كَا نَ لِيَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِّنْ سُلْطٰنٍ اِلَّاۤ اَنْ دَعَوْتُكُمْ فَا سْتَجَبْتُمْ لِيْ ۚ فَلَا تَلُوْمُوْنِيْ وَلُوْمُوْۤا اَنْفُسَكُمْ ۗ مَاۤ اَنَاۡ بِمُصْرِخِكُمْ وَمَاۤ اَنْتُمْ بِمُصْرِخِيَّ ۗ اِنِّيْ كَفَرْتُ بِمَاۤ اَشْرَكْتُمُوْنِ مِنْ قَبْلُ ۗ اِنَّ الظّٰلِمِيْنَ لَهُمْ عَذَا بٌ اَ لِيْمٌ
"And Satan will say when the matter has been concluded, "Indeed, Allah had promised you the promise of truth. And I promised you, but I betrayed you. But I had no authority over you except that I invited you, and you responded to me. So do not blame me; but blame yourselves. I cannot be called to your aid, nor can you be called to my aid. Indeed, I deny your association of me [with Allah] before. Indeed, for the wrongdoers is a painful punishment.""
(QS. Ibrahim 14: Verse 22)
قُلْ لِّـعِبَا دِيَ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا يُقِيْمُوا الصَّلٰوةَ وَيُنْفِقُوْا مِمَّا رَزَقْنٰهُمْ سِرًّا وَّعَلَا نِيَةً مِّنْ قَبْلِ اَنْ يَّأْتِيَ يَوْمٌ لَّا بَيْعٌ فِيْهِ وَلَا خِلٰلٌ
"[O Muhammad], tell My servants who have believed to establish prayer and spend from what We have provided them, secretly and publicly, before a Day comes in which there will be no exchange, nor any friendships."
(QS. Ibrahim 14: Verse 31)
وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ اللّٰهَ غَا فِلًا عَمَّا يَعْمَلُ الظّٰلِمُوْنَ ۗ اِنَّمَا يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ لِيَوْمٍ تَشْخَصُ فِيْهِ الْاَ بْصَا رُ
"And never think that Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do. He only delays them for a Day when eyes will stare [in horror]."
(QS. Ibrahim 14: Verse 42)
وَمَاۤ اَهْلَـكْنَا مِنْ قَرْيَةٍ اِلَّا وَلَهَا كِتَا بٌ مَّعْلُوْمٌ
"And We did not destroy any city but that for it was a known decree."
(QS. Al-Hijr 15: Verse 4)
قَا لَ رَبِّ بِمَاۤ اَغْوَيْتَنِيْ لَاُ زَيِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ فِى الْاَ رْضِ وَلَاُ غْوِيَـنَّهُمْ اَجْمَعِيْنَ
"[Iblees] said, "My Lord, because You have put me in error, I will surely make [disobedience] attractive to them on earth, and I will mislead them all"
(QS. Al-Hijr 15: Verse 39)
وَمَا خَلَقْنَا السَّمٰوٰتِ وَا لْاَ رْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَاۤ اِلَّا بِا لْحَـقِّ ۗ وَاِ نَّ السَّا عَةَ لَاٰ تِيَةٌ فَا صْفَحِ الصَّفْحَ الْجَمِيْلَ
"And We have not created the heavens and earth and that between them except in truth. And indeed, the Hour is coming; so forgive with gracious forgiveness."
(QS. Al-Hijr 15: Verse 85)
وَا لْاَ نْعَا مَ خَلَقَهَا ۚ لَـكُمْ فِيْهَا دِفْءٌوَّمَنَا فِعُ وَمِنْهَا تَأْكُلُوْنَ
"And the grazing livestock He has created for you; in them is warmth and [numerous] benefits, and from them you eat."
(QS. An-Nahl 16: Verse 5)
اِلٰهُكُمْ اِلٰهٌ وَّا حِدٌ ۚ فَا لَّذِيْنَ لَا يُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِا لْاٰ خِرَةِ قُلُوْبُهُمْ مُّنْكِرَةٌ وَّهُمْ مُّسْتَكْبِرُوْنَ
"Your god is one God. But those who do not believe in the Hereafter - their hearts are disapproving, and they are arrogant."
(QS. An-Nahl 16: Verse 22)
وَلَـقَدْ بَعَثْنَا فِيْ كُلِّ اُمَّةٍ رَّسُوْلًا اَنِ اعْبُدُوا اللّٰهَ وَا جْتَنِبُوا الطَّا غُوْتَ ۚ فَمِنْهُمْ مَّنْ هَدَى اللّٰهُ وَمِنْهُمْ مَّنْ حَقَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الضَّلٰلَةُ ۗ فَسِيْرُوْ ا فِيْ الْاَ رْضِ فَا نْظُرُوْا كَيْفَ كَا نَ عَا قِبَةُ الْمُكَذِّبِيْنَ
"And We certainly sent into every nation a messenger, [saying], "Worship Allah and avoid Taghut." And among them were those whom Allah guided, and among them were those upon whom error was [deservedly] decreed. So proceed through the earth and observe how was the end of the deniers."
(QS. An-Nahl 16: Verse 36)
وَقَا لَ اللّٰهُ لَا تَـتَّخِذُوْۤا اِلٰهَيْنِ اثْنَيْنِ ۚ اِنَّمَا هُوَ اِلٰـهٌ وَّا حِدٌ ۚ فَاِ يَّايَ فَا رْهَبُوْنِ
"And Allah has said, "Do not take for yourselves two deities. He is but one God, so fear only Me.""
(QS. An-Nahl 16: Verse 51)
وَضَرَبَ اللّٰهُ مَثَلًا رَّجُلَيْنِ اَحَدُهُمَاۤ اَبْكَمُ لَا يَقْدِرُ عَلٰى شَيْءٍ وَّهُوَ كَلٌّ عَلٰى مَوْلٰٮهُ ۙ اَيْنَمَا يُوَجِّهْهُّ لَا يَأْتِ بِخَيْرٍ ۗ هَلْ يَسْتَوِيْ هُوَ ۙ وَمَنْ يَّأْمُرُ بِا لْعَدْلِ ۙ وَهُوَ عَلٰى صِرَا طٍ مُّسْتَقِيْمٍ
"And Allah presents an example of two men, one of them dumb and unable to do a thing, while he is a burden to his guardian. Wherever he directs him, he brings no good. Is he equal to one who commands justice, while he is on a straight path?"
(QS. An-Nahl 16: Verse 76)
