And To Allah We Shall Return.

    As-Salaam alaykum,
Ayat 156 of Surat Baqra of the Holy Qur'an (2:156) reads:--

"We belong to Allah, and to Him we shall return."

With this, we realize that when we say: 'We belong to Him', we are declaring that nothing belongs to us-- nothing is deserved. Everything we have is a pure act of grace and blessing of/from Allah, the Merciful and Generous Lord of the Universe. Once this fact reaches our heart, we will then be able to break free from arrogance, pride and complaint...

Haqq - binding, duty, right, incumbent, obligation

    Yusuf Ali (Saudi Rev. 1985)
We did indeed send, before thee, messengers to their (respective) peoples, and they came to them with Clear Signs: then, to those who transgressed, We meted out Retribution: and it was due from Us to aid those who believed.

Kataba - written, recorded, prescribed, commanded to be written and implemented.

When those come to thee who believe in Our signs, Say: "Peace be on you: Your Lord hath inscribed for Himself (the rule of) mercy: verily, if any of you did evil in ignorance, and thereafter repented, and amend (his conduct), lo! He is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.

Jidaal- argue (as a lawyer does)

    (M.M Picktall)
Allah hath heard the saying of her that disputeth with thee (Muhammad) concerning her husband, and complaineth unto Allah. And Allah heareth your colloquy. Lo! Allah is Hearer, Knower.

    Yusuf Ali (Saudi Rev. 1985)
He (Jacob) said: "I only complain of my distraction and anguish to Allah, and I know from Allah that which ye know not...

    Yusuf Ali (Saudi Rev. 1985)
To orphans restore their property (When they reach their age), nor substitute (your) worthless things for (their) good ones; and devour not their substance (by mixing it up) with your own. For this is indeed a great sin.

    Haasibu anfusakum qabla an tuhaasaboo.

There are certain things called rights (haqq) just as the reward of Paradise is a Promise of Allah to the one who willingly gives his/her life and property to Allah.

So be assured that Allah does not make it lawful even for Himself to misappropriate the rights of people without just reimbursement.

Certainly Allah hath purchased from the believers their lives and their properties; for theirs (in return) is the garden (of Paradise): they fight in His cause, and slay and are slain: a promise binding on Him in truth, through the Torah, the Gospel, and the Qur'an: and who is more faithful to his covenant than Allah? then rejoice in the bargain which ye have concluded: that is the achievement supreme.

    Quran 9:111

And Allah is OVERALL the witness and judge.
