Surah Fatiha
the opening surah, mashallah every1 reads in der salah & we r all familiar wit it, these r some of its virtues
Hadhrat Abu Sa'id (ra) said "RasoolAllah (saw) before leaving the mosque sed, shall i teach u d greatest surah in the quran, then RasoolAllah (saw) started to say "Al hum do lillahi Rabbil Aaalameen" - Surah Fatiha. (Bukhari)
Hadhrat Saib said "RasoolAllah (saw) recited Surah Fatiha & blew it over me, so it wud keep me away from calamities" (at tabraani)
Hadhrat Anas said "RasoolAllah (saw) said - when u recite Surah Fatiha & Surah Ikhlaas upon lying on ur bed, u will be safeguarded & fearless from everythin apart from death" (Mazhari)
and finally 2 sum up d virtues of surah fatihaa , RasoolAllah (saw) sed " The mother of the Quran are seven oft repeated verses i.e "Surah Fatiha" (Bukhari)
Surah Al Baqarah
RasoolAllah (saw) said "Shaytan is barred from any house where Al Baqarah is recited" (muslim)
Alsoooo RasoolAllah (saw) said " Whoever recites Ayah Tul Kursi, after each compulsory salah, there will nothing between him & jannah, xcept death" (ibn habbin & darimi)
Abu Umamah (ra) reported "RasoolAllah (saw) sed, recite surah Baqarah, for 2 hold on 2 it is a blessin & leave it is a regret" (muslim)
RasoolAllah (saw) sed - "The Quran wil be brought on d day of qiyamah, along with its companions who used 2 recite it & at the front will be Al Baqara & Al Imran, pleadin for their companion who used to recite them" (muslim)
Surah Al Imran
our butifull RasoolAllah (saw) said ....
"what an excellent treasure Surah Al Imran is 2 d pauper, wen he recites it in d middle of d nite" (darimi)
"if anyone recites Al Imran on friday, angels will invoke blessins on him til d nite comes" (darimi & masabih)
Khilafa Hadhrat Uthman (ra) narrated "RasoolAllah (saw) said, if any1 recites surah al Imran @ nite, the reward of spendin a nite in prayer will be recorded for him" (muslim)
Surah Al Anaam
RasoolAllah (saw) "Never has Surah Anaam been recited over a sick person, without Allah (swt) curin them"
our butifuullllll Ameer Ul Momineen Hadhrat Umar (ra) reported RasoolAllah (saw) as sayin " Surah Anam is from d core of d Quran" (al qurtubi)
Surah as Sajdaa
the Prophet (saw) would not sleep until he had read surah as sajda (tirmidhi)
surah Yasin
RasoolAllah (saw) said
"whoever recites this surah in the nite, seekin Allah (swt) pleasure, all his sins will be forgiven" (ibn hibban)
Surah ad Dukhaan
RasoolAllah (saw) said about dis surah
whoever recites this surah, 70 thousand angels will ask forgiveness for him (tirmidhi)
"surahs beginnin with Ha Meem are butifull, fresh & fragnant, splendid meadows, whoever desires to walk around in the fresh splendid meadows of jannah, should recite these" (al qurtubi)
Surah Waqiah
RasoolAllah (saw) sed "whoeva recites this surah will be saved from poverty" (bayhaqi)
Surah Al Kaafiroon
RasoolAllah (saw) said
"recite al kafiroon, as it is a clearence from shirk" (abu dawud)
"its equivalent 2 a quarter of d Quran" (tirmidhi)
Surah Nasr
its Equivalent 2 fourth of d quran (tirmidhi)
also dont hold me 2 dis lol, cos i havent got a source but inshallah il find i heard der is a hadiths in which RasoolAllah (saw) says - "whoeva recited dis surah, it is as though he was with me when makkah was freed"
Surah Ikhlaas
RasoolAllah (saw) said
"its equal 2 a 3rd of d quran" (bukhari)
"if any1 recites this surah 200 hundred times daily, this sins of 50 years will be wiped out" (tirmidhi)
Ummul Momineen Hadhrat Aisha (ra) said "RasoolAllah (saw) used 2 recite dis surah along wit Al Falaq & An Nas, & put his hands 2geva & blow it on 2 dem & den rub it over his body, before he went 2 sleep" (bukhari)
Surah Al Falaq
RasoolAllah (saw) sed -
"Recite this surah, bcos der isnt a surah more cherished by Allah (swt) & more prefound in his sight " (tirmidhi)
"this surah was revealed to keep away the jinn & the evil eye" (tirmidhi)
