Can I ask Allah To Make for me only 5 supernatural powers for some reasons?

This thread is certainly inactive but I'll bump it.. since such questions are still topical and need to be answered


okay, Allah swt Gave you supernatural powers, what will you do next? Will you use them just for fun or something else? Seriously

Telekinesis, what for? Moving some objects using your mind? I understand if you were a handicap person without hands..

Power of electricity? To produce the electrical energy? Nowadays there's no need to

Black hole? Why? You can find another approach than involving the supernatural phenomena in order to solve your household problems


Allah swt Makes the impossible possible of course, and you can ask always whatever you want, only the exception is haram. Haram is not allowable. What's haram? If you wish to hurt others or destroy anything, physical and spiritual. Supernatural or miracle should be a unique one than telekinesis or other primitive abilities ever existed..
there were many unique supernatural abilities of pious believers.. one of them is, teleportation of Queen Sheba's throne

when I saw this ask and it's reply, I felt shame because of the arrogance shown. So much so, I decided to register to write an answer!
I mean, I found your thread because I had the same question too!
is it haram to ask Allah (swt), supernatural powers?
for us both, I did research. I know I'm two years late, but I hope this helps those who also had the same question.
In truth, no one really bothered to answer this question; I meant scholars and others, so this is regards of my own opinion.
lets first site our facts!
Islam has it's own supernatural beliefs, yes. I mean, come on guys, we don't have complete faith in islam if we don't believe in angels who are made of literal light, and jinns who are made of literal fire, and can fly and turn INVISIBLE.
anyways, now let's think about the supernaturality that islam shows.
firstly, miracles. we all know that Allah (swt) bestowed great powers to all of our prophets to solidify the fact that they are not wrong, or manical people that the tribes of the disbelievers claimed them to be. Examples? hazrat Nuh and the creation of his ark, hazrat Saleh and the pregnant she-camel that came out of a rock. How about the example of prophet muhammed (saw) who could talk to birds, split the moon in half, and so on?
and the thread here is that at least one miracle was given to every single prophet. Even Hazrat Adam was given a miracle; the miracle of knowledge that no angel, no jinn knew.
there is a hadith written by ibn hajar, " The phrase (Every Prophet was given) indicates that every Prophet must have a miracle that makes people believe that he is speaking the truth, and no harm befalls him by those who insist on not believing. Moreover, the phrase(miracles) indicates that every Prophet was given one miracle or more that makes people believe in him.{Fatih al-Bari}.
This means that these supernatural occurrences was to affirm that they are prophets. They are to be followed as they gave the true message, which is La illa ha illallah. Allah is one.
secondly, The jinn.
The Jinns, or those made of fire, also have supernatural abilities. they can transform into anything, can fly, and I've also heard they can possess you at times. They possess powers that we would LOVE to have, not gonna lie.
but, we must also remind ourselves, those are not humans. And since we don't have much on supernatural abilities regarding a normal person, what if we are manipulating jinns without realising it? maybe we can use telekinesis because we are forcing (or the jinn gladly does) a jinn to help us work to such a thing. For instance, we have seen the powers of jinn in the story of hazrat Sulaiman, where they could transport a heavy throne in a blink of an ye. A blink! Again, it's philosophy regarding jinns.The prophetic miracles I'm confirmed.
So, with these facts and figures, what do we get?
The answer is, it's most probably haram. I mean, desiring it is cool, but trying to gain them might not be, because we have no idea what is causing us to do it, because we are made of clay and the only power we have, is forgiveness. It's an amazing power, one that shaytan does not have.
to conclude,
super natural things are executed to either a person that god has chosen to be a messenger or a prophet, or it is given to an entity like jinn. Islam most probably does not allow humans to have supernatural abilities, and our only powerful magic is forgiveness :D!

And, if I see flies around me and really disturbs me, then I can create a warm hole, and to make the other side of warm hole; first side of the warm hole will be on my desk, and the exit of the warm hole will be outside the window, outside the house, and I can order to swallow bugs inside with an enormous speed, that will throw outside that bug from the warm hole and it will be only one way, not round way, so that I can kick some bug’s asses, because it’s really disturbing me. And, if I’ll get bored I can create a black hole that I imagine or a warm hole and I can have in my hand the black hole or the warm hole, and I can do anything as I want with them. And, if God wishes He can Take away these supernatural powers He Made for me, because it does not belong to me, I only use them And, I’m really fascinated about black holes, and I enjoy watching black holes.
Because, I wished to have for the first time a supernatural powers, because I see some people on YouTube have the ability of Telekinesis and that’s pretty cool. And, I want to have the ability of Telekinesis so that I can easily help my Christian mother(e.g. if she carries something very hard, and then she feels exhausted, I ask her to let me carry for you, and she tells me that, no, I can’t because you had a backbone surgery) so that by having this ability, I can help my mother without making some efforts, so that I can make my mother happy at me, and so that I can get rewarded by God.

Is this sinful to wish from Him to have some supernatural powers?

Also I have this power, I have a vacuum cleaner and my room cleans itself..

Only time it doesn't work is when my wife goes to her parents house for the weekend.

You can ask Allah for everything you want, but only something good. But, as an adult, I think you've already known, not all people wants would be given by God. Example, if there are 10 men pray to Allah wishing one girl, Allah would not approve all of their wish.

You want magical power, it's okay. It means, you want your life would be easier with that magical power. But, you can't replace the position of God. God is God, and you as human being would never be God. I mean, it's God controls us, not we control God. If we can ask everything we want, then we're the same as God. It's impossible.

You can work with Gin (spirit) to get supernatural power, but their power is not like the power of God.

Prophets were given mu'jizat, the wali of Allah were given Karomah, and ordinary people like us were given ma'unah (help). All Allah decides, we don't have any authority on it.

Make sure, everything you want and everything you do in this life make you become closer to Allah and make you gain more love from Him.

Salaams im not sure why people are saying things are haraam when they are not. Ask Allah for whatever you want to ask him for, Wallahi. Your connection with Allah is between you and Allah. I asked Allah for superpowers and i ask him not to have powers of the Jinn. Your intentions should be pure. Ask Allah for candy, a car, to fly. Allah only needs to say B and it is and it will be. You dont have to be logical in your endevourse because Allah will give it to you in this world or the next. ASk Allah for the mountins if you want, just make sure your intentions are puer, and dont want to haram people, and or isnt to show off. So&nbsp; me personally i ask Allah for powers like the Prophets, but in whatever way Allah sees fit for me to have it, i want to be able to connect with nature because i love it so much, and to be able to Understand birds becase I love them so much! I know for a faact thats something Only Allah can give because he is the creator. Nothing is impossible with the trust of Allah. I often wish I had Telekonises as well just so I wont have to get out of my bed and just turn my light off and thats okayy and if Allah gives you that power rather it be a test ot a blessing thats between you and Allah. Allah gave abillites to many Prophets even without the help of jinn, and from what we know the only Prophet that dealt with the Jinns was Prophet Sulimen, the rest Allah Blessed.
