It's by Asne Seierstad. A really heart wrenching report about the was in Chechnya with a particular focus on the horrid impact it has on the lives of ordinary Chechens and particularly the children/orphans and the psychological impact it has on them, not just with stunted emotional growth but also anti social disorders caused by the war.
So be prepared to be heart broken and incredibly angry but it's an extremely enlightening book bringing a great deal of attention to the forgotten victims of a forgotten war.
