When celebrating Christmas, it would be a good idea to think about the birthplace of Jesus. What is like in the Holy Land under occupation, injustice and racism? How does Christmas feel when the Holy Land is under siege?
Interesting video, although it's always been relatively hard to celebrate Christmas in the Holy Land, because it's always been so **** hostile. Christians have always found it hard, it's been controlled by the likes of the Romans, Arabs, Crusaders, Ottomans and now the Israelis. History simply repeats itself, because absoloutely no one listens. In fact, I'd go so far as to say, for Christians in Palestine, Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without some sort of occupying force making things harder for you, but that probably makes the whole experience all the more satisfying and worthwhile. Hopefully I'll go there one day to celebrate Christmas.
