    As-Salāmu `Alaykum (السلام عليكم):

To maintain the spirit and intent of this thread to hightlight the righteous women in Islam include authentic reference(s) from Quran, Sahih and sirah with notations. Insha Allah

    Surah An Nahl 16:97

    97. Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islâmic Monotheism) verily, to him We will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and We shall pay them certainly a reward in proportion to the best of what they used to do (i.e. Paradise in the Hereafter). (Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan translation)

    As-Salāmu `Alaykum (السلام عليكم):

    1. Maryam Um Isa-

Maryam (Mary), the mother of Isa (Jesus), was a pious Muslim woman during the time of Prophet Zakariyya. She was Maryam daughter Imran from the family lineage of Dawud (David), the offspring of the Children of Israel.
Maryam's mother, Hannah, conceived and delivered Maryam when she was an old woman, at an age when women usually can no longer have babies. With the birth of a son in mind, Hannah vowed that she would dedicate the child to the service of the Sacred House in Jerusalem, dedicate the child for worship, freed from all worldly affairs. Instead Almighty Allah blessed Hannah with a daughter. She named the girl "Maryam," which literally means "maidservant of Allah," and she asked Allah to protect Maryam and her offspring from evil. Maryam could not be devoted to temple service as her mother had intended, due to being a female, under the Mosaic Law at the time. However, as the new born was marked out for a special destiny to be the mother of the miracle-child, Prophet Isa, Allah had accepted her for His service.

An entire Surah (Chapter) has been named in the name of Maryam (19)

    Surah Ali Imran 3:37

    37. So her Lord (Allâh) accepted her with goodly acceptance. He made her grow in a good manner and put her under the care of Zakariyâ (Zachariya). Every time he entered Al-Mihrâb[]to (visit) her , he found her supplied with sustenance. He said: "O Maryam (Mary)! From where have you got this?" She said, "This is from Allâh." Verily, Allâh provides sustenance to whom He wills, without limit."
    (Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan translation)

    2. Khadījah bint Khuwaylid (Arabic: خديجة بنت خويلد‎) or Khadījah al-Kubra (Khadija the great) (circa 555–619 CE) was the first wife of the Nabi Muhammad (SAWS). She was the daughter of Khuwayid ibn Asad and Fatimah bint Za'idah and belonged to the clan of Banu Hashim. She is important in Islam as Muhammad's first wife, and one of the "mothers of the believers.

Sahih Bukhari Volume 5, Book 58, Number 167:

    Narrated Ismail:

I asked 'Abdullah bin Abi Aufa, "Did the Prophet give glad tidings to Khadija?" He said, "Yes, of a palace of Qasab (in Paradise) where there will be neither any noise nor any fatigue."

    As-Salāmu `Alaykum (السلام عليكم):

    3. Fatimah (Arabic: فاطمة‎; fāṭimah; c. 605or 615 –632) was a daughter of the Nabi Muhammad (SAWS) from his first wif Khadijah bint Khuwaylid. She is regarded by as an exemplar for men and women. She remained at her father's side through the difficulties suffered by him at the hands of the Quraysh of Mecca. After migration to Medina, she married Ali ibn Abi Talib, Muhammad's cousin, and was mother to four of his children. She died a few months after her father, and was buried in Jannat Al-Baqi' in the city of Medina, although the exact location of her grave is unknown.

Hadrat Fatima, the Rose of Jannah, may Allah be pleased with her, the daughter of the Holy Last Messenger, peace be upon him, came to her father one day and asked for a hand mill to help her grind corn. Her hands were callused from doing it by hand. Instead, he, peace be upon him, gave her a special zikr. To this day, and for all the times to come, Muslims, after salat, perform the zikr of Hadrat Fatima. Hazrat Fatima, one of the four most righteous women in Paradise, the mother of Imam Hasan and Imam Husain, may Allah be pleased with them, stayed at home and took care of her family.
