    what in this condition?

    Report bad ads?

    Assalam o Alaikum.
In Quran it is said that a Muslim man is not married to a zania(guilty of fornication) and vice versa,
but what if the guilty man or woman has done tauba? then in that case, can they marry to a pious spouse? or not?

    Re: what in this condition?

    Salaam.
    Got a couple of answers.

Walaikum Salaam Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh.

"Allah accepts the repentance of those who do evil in ignorance and repent soon afterwards; to them will Allah turn in Mercy; for Allah is full of Knowledge and Wisdom." - [4:17-18]

Allah's Messenger (saws) said, "He who repents of a sin [sincerely] is like him who has committed no sin."

One can infer that in such a case it is permissible, and Allah (swt) knows best.

    Wa Alaikum As-Salaam

    ورحمة الله وبركاته

Yes. Someone who committed zina in the past but has sincerely repented, regretted the action and resolved never to do it again – such a person is no longer considered a zani/zania ..so they can marry a pious spouse.

It is those who openly sin and engage in fornication and do not repent and continue in that way that Muslims are not allowed to marry such people.

The pure are for the pure.
The impure are for the impure.

    Hope that helps.
