Qadr is a combination of free will and something we have no power to control. We make choices and are responsible for the cnsequenses. We do not do anything because Allah Has Written it, but Allah Wrote it because He Knew in advance that we would do it. Thing we have no control over maybe: we fall ill, but had no choice to fall ill or not to - a mosquito bite can lead to malaria, dengue and other such diseases - even this is Qadr. Without any doubt, whether it is our choice or not, nothing happens until Allah Allows it to happen. Whatever He Wills, it happens. Whatever He doesn't Will, it doesn't happen.
