My family is part of the gulen movement but I want out....I want to join the nur cemaat......also known as nurculuk.....it is based on the teachings of Bediuzzaman Said Nursi, who died in 1960.

Brother, don't join any group or follow a person. Try to learn the religion according to Quran and Sunnah and follow RasulAllah sallahu alaihi wasallam.

Yes mustafa i totally agree with the above. Learn your religion from its primary sources at first and then you can think about such groups because only then you can critisize wether they are following the true islam or not.
