Is this ONLY ME OR do any of YOU suffer from this too ?!!!

    Assalamu Alaikum,

Right. so ok i'm going to post another thing about waswas; i'm really sorry but i need to post this because i want to see if its only me that suffers from what i'm about to describe or if any of you get it too.
SO each and every muslim will get waswas there is NO doubt about it. As shaytan loves to mislead us and confuse us etc. and i know that having waswas is a sign of pure faith according to the hadith.
BUT. Is it just me or do any of you suffer from certain waswas that comes back over and over ? Like say if you had a waswas, do any of you ever get certain ones re occurring? cos i do and it makes me think i've said or thought these things.
SERIOUSLY. whatever comes to my mind i HATE HATE them. I can never utter a waswas. I feel sick when i get waswas. I KNOW that the waswas i suffer from i could NEVER intentionally say or do. BUT i feel that even though i know that i could NEVER say/think these things on purpose i feel like it is ALL me !!
And when i read about the amazing blessings Allah (SWT) bestows upon us for doing even the smallest of deeds; i feel like no i'm not eligible for any of the rewards bcs of the waswas.
Seriously waswas ruins my entire day. I feel like i am OUT of Islam. LIKE THATS IT. i'm destined for the hell fire. I really feel that bcs of all the the thoughts in my mind, And at times i think the waswas isnt shaytan, its me. I feel like it is ALL ME. BUT BUT BUT I COULD NEVER SAY THESE THINGS OR THINK THEM. I get this thing where i could be doing something it could be anything and then it could be something totally innocent but then while i'm doing normal everyday activities, waswas creeps up on me during when i'm busy doing things and this distresses me a lot. It makes me feel like it is ALL me.
AND that Allah will accept nothing from me.
I feel Islam is out of reach
AND sometimes i feel like that hadith the one that says waswas is a sign of pure iman i often feel like it doesnt apply to me BUT i wouldnt say/do these things.
I know its all waswas. I'm doing what i can do rid myself off them.
I just want to know if anyone else suffers from this to this degree; do any of you ever think that it wasnt shaytan, that it was you but you know this is something that cannot be done by you.
I'm so fed up SO SO fed up. i cant deal with it.
BTW. intentions are from the heart aren't they ? Cos i get confused with my intentions all the time :/

    Anyway..

I feel like my place in jannah doesnt even exist.. I dunno.

Well I cant say i suffer from this degree. But i don know that the remembrance of allah(swt) will help you through this. You should always think of allah(swt) know that he his the most merciful and he will forgive you. If you havent done amything intentionally.
Allah(swt) gives everyone a test to test your iman and you may think you have overcame your hardship. Allah(swt has the power to keep on testing, It only makes you stronger once you can overcame this over and over to build your Iman.

Re: Is this ONLY ME OR do any of YOU suffer from this too ?!!!

Salaamalaykum sister, yes i can definetly relate to you. i am also suffering from severe wiswass. i used to have mild wiswass but recently i have been dealing with such severe wiswass from shaytan the accursed, that im thinking hes left me mentally sick, its affected my whole day and has put me through severe depression. i also thought it was from myself and when i spoke to a friend of mine she too went through with it and she assured me its from the accursed shaytan, I had a burning feeling on my neck, i hated my life. im slowly recovering and all i want is strong iman thats the only thing i ask for.= a few tips get up in the night before fajr and pray salat tahajud, read quran, pray salat al haja {prayer of need}-i do that after salat al isha and put your hands up and make dua after salaam. Send blessings on the beloved prophet and his family 100 times and make dua that Allah will rid wiswass al shayateen. another dua say Allahuma inni masaniyashaytonu bi nousoubin wa a3thab then say Rabbi aouthu bika min hamazatil shayateena wa aouthu bika Rabbi an yahdaroun after that say- wa kufizan min kulli shaytanin marid. I wish you all the best and may Allah swt relieve you, myself and every muslim brother/sister from all our hardships. Ameen Ya Rabb

Salaam sister, I too am going through exactly the same thing and maybe eve-n worse, are you constantly scared, your mind is constantly in a blast confusing the heck out of me and making me feel like im mentally sick... This is how i am slowly recovering Firstly ignore your whole mind ignore it all, its hard at first but inshAllah it will get easier, make PLENTY of dua with my head down in sujood and begging Allah, send many blessings on the prophet and his family 100 times and make dua that Allah will relieve you and all the muslim ummah from the whisperings of shaytan the accursed, and just keep reciting QulhuAllah hu Ahad over and over on a masabha or on your fingers or just to yourself, try your very best to not answer your thoughts and prove yourself as this will only make it worse. Another thing after salat al isha pray 2 rakkat sunnah and after that pray 2 rakkat salat al haja {the prayer of need} and put your hands up praise Allah and ask Allah to rid the whisperings of the accursed satan and make your iman strong. May Allah Ta3la shine the light of iman through your heart, mine and all our muslim brothers and sisters... I hope Allah will give us the strength to get through this...Dont forget make heaps of dua beg and try and get up before fajr and offer 2 rakkat tahajud, give it everything you have DO NOT GIVE UP!!! i wish you all the best! Salaam

Re: Is this ONLY ME OR do any of YOU suffer from this too ?!!!

    Salaam sis,

Every muslim suffers from this was was i think i read a hadith about one of the companions of the prophet Astaghfirullah , i'm not sure but i think he asked the messenger a question like this: One of us has in his mind/ or chest a type of waswas that is so evil ( i think it concerns belief in al islam ) to the fact that it would be a great sin to utter these words" the Prophet PBUH said "Dhalika Sareeh alEman"- in translation i think it mean this is Sincerity of Faith.

Dont be worried i had terrible waswas i thought God almight hated me and so , but i tried ignoring them and whenever the shaytan tried to persuade me into to doing something evil i tired my best to the opposite , it soon left afterwards no need to worry about you going to Jannah or not , if you are a muslim that has faith in Allah then you believe that Allah is Most Mercifull and Most Forgiving

Move one , it happens to everyone.

I hope this made some sense , and please correct me if i am wrong , I also hope this helped.

    Salaam

Re: Is this ONLY ME OR do any of YOU suffer from this too ?!!!

Assalamu Alaikum dear sister, Glad there's a lot of responses so that you can deal with your waswas. This is a problem that every one of us experiences, less or more. We have several hadith and narrations regarding waswas one of which is; In al-Kafi, (al-Kulayni reports) with his isnad from Zurarah and Abu Basir that they said: We asked him Jawfer Sadiq or his father Baqir (A) (descendants of Prophet) about a man who had frequent doubts in his salat, to the extent that he wouldn’t know how much he has offered and how much remain to be offered. He said, “He should repeat (the salat).” We said to him, “That happens to him a lot and wherever he repeats his doubt also recurs.” He said, “(In that case) he should ignore his doubt.” Then, he added, “Don’t let the Evil One get accustomed to haunting you by tempting him by breaking the salat. For Satan is wicked and gets accustomed to that which he is allowed to get used to. So when one of you does not pay attention to his doubt and does not break his salat frequently, and this is done a number of times, the doubt will not recur to him.” Zurarah says: Then he added, “The Evil One wants to be obeyed, and when he is disobeyed he will not return to any of you.”

So the best thing is if you reach the higher stage of waswas just neglect it.

Don't worry sister this only confirms your faith in islam is sincere.

Because the Shayteen has found out that your difficult to mislead in any other way so they use these waswas to try to break you from other ways and these kind of waswas comes from direct frustrations because they couldn't find other ways with you and it's equal like them punching you instead because you are so head-strong and stubborn individual.

Just ignore that inshallah and presume your head-strong life style by just going at it and always remember that this is equal to them throwing punches at you
