    Relocating to muslim country

    Report bad ads?

Im not happy in the united states. The authorities harass me all the time. I don’t feel part of this society. There are a lot of problems and even in the house of worship they create problems for me. I want to move to muslim country where i can practice my religion free of persecution. I feel angry all the time and i don’t want to die with these people. My parents are not religious and I want to go back and live and die with the muslims. They can keep the blue passport I know there are many problems in muslim countries but Im willing to deal with it. I hate it here. Allah is testing me and I feel I m failing. I went to muslim country before and i felt much better there are living issues there but I felt I belonged. I don’t belong here and I don’t want to.

    Unsure what to do

Before making the move, make sure you do more research about the country you want to move to. If you only visited it once and liked it, go back a few more times with the mindset of possibly moving there rather than seeing it as a vacation. Make sure your decision isn't a compulsive one. Try to think everything through and plan it out. If you decide you want to move, make sure you have the means of doing so (do you have the money, can you get work, transportation, food, etc.). Were you born in this country or did you move here from somewhere else?

Have you tried thinking of relocating within the US? While it isn't a Muslim country, there are a lot of places where Muslims have no issues with the authorities. There are lots of states with large Muslim communities as well. If you lived in this country your whole life, then it might be easier to just move to another city/state vs a new country.

As you're already aware, it isn't a perfect world but moving, especially to a different country, is a big decision and if in the end you feel it will better your life and bring you closer to the deen, then make the move.

your words are wise. I agree with everything you say. I came here when I was 2 and have lived most of my life in US. I think your words summed it up it isn’t a perfect world. May Allah provide Guidance Inshalla I intend to do those suggestions. As Salamu Alaikum

Asalamu alaikum. Glad I could help. I've thought about moving plenty of times as well. This is a hard place to live in due to all the fitnah surrounding us as Muslims, both male and female. The way people talk, dress, act, and think, people lack patience, lack modesty, lack morality, the ads that we're surrounded by, and the list goes on. I visited the mother land when I was younger and while I loved the culture there (we lack a rich culture here in the states unfortunately), life was not so rosey there. I thought of moving to a more rural area here in the states. Become more dependant on the land, away from all the noise and distractions, that kind of thing. I just never had the motivation to do it because I'm so close to my family at the moment.

Whatever you decide to do, just make sure you think of all the options. Inshallah whatever you decide, it will be beneficial to you.

    Take care
