    Re: Reincarnation / Reincarnated?

It's a video of a plane crash in Jamaica. So no, I honestly don't believe reincarnation has anything to do with it.

Most likely to be due to Jinn.

    Re: Reincarnation / Reincarnated?

A reincarnate would have memories of ALL past incidents. This dude seems to only have memories of a plane crash and remembers nothing else from the life of that pilot. Does not seem to be a "perfect reincarnate." Moreover, he provided only 3 pieces of information. That accuracy very well could be purely by chance. Or, a jinn playing around but that is most unlikely and last guess as Jinns dont really bother humans as we Muslims make out them to be. Every psychiatric case is considered a "jinn possession." I talked to a psychiatrist, who was a Muslim, who said that 99.99% of these cases are psychiatric problems and not "jinn possessions."

How is it 'chance' that a kid comes up with a random name and says he died etc?

Jinn possession isn't all that uncommon, actually.

Nowadays, we happen to have cases incorrectly diagnosed as psychriatic problems.

Well the child does not remember anything else, just some air plane accident from the World War II or was it WWI?

What about the other life details of that pilot who died? We know that this child was very much into planes from the very beginning, probably he took those names from a museum he visited with his parents ..... Some people can retain names very well.

Regarding Jinn possession, I am a bit of a skeptic. My Islamic belief is that they do occur but I am not sure if they occur with that much frequency as we currently hear from fellow brethren. I personally have not seen one and have not seen one completely getting cured from it so maybe that might explain the skepticism.

    Re: Reincarnation / Reincarnated?

Eons ago when I as actually working as a psychologist at several monthly seminars I attended there were some heated discussions about "Inherited Memory" so far nobody has been able to prove the existence of inherited memory, but if it does exist it would be an explanation for some of the claims of reincarnation. The person was not reincarnated but was born with a few memories of something his ancestors either saw or read about.

This is very interesting. Something similar to the game Assassin's creed.
But this of course only applies if those memories can make changes in the genome in that ancestor's sperm or eggs. Not sure what the mechanism would be for that.

Islamically, reincarnation within the universe cannot occur. Even the birth on the day of judgment is not reincarnation. As we will be raised up as who we were, and are and not into a new transformed body with different features but the same soul.

Jinns aren't really the most reliable of creatures. They're not likely to provide every snippet of information and they tend to lie. That's if it is due to a jinn.

We know that this child was very much into planes from the very beginning, probably he took those names from a museum .....
    That is a possibility I won't discount.

It could be due to a jinn cos they are able to influence dreams - like the ones the kid use to have. Also, the fact that he didn't seem to remember what happened when his parents would ask him is another symptom that's common among possessed people. They tend to forget what they talk about when possession overtakes them.

Another thing that comes to mind is qareens (we all are assigned a companion from the jinn that whispers evil into our hearts and guides us toward doing sinful things). If that pilot died and his qareen is wandering the Earth, maybe he took a liking to the kid and decided to bring out memories of his dead human companion lol.

But yeah, it isn't impossible that he could have somehow stored that information in his subconcious after a museum trip or something.

From personal experience, I can say with 100% certainty that they do occur. Allahu alam to the frequency, but I know black magic is rife in places like India, Pakistan and Morrocco and usually, jinns are sent into the bodies of victims to bring out the affects of this magic. The jinns possess the victims and make them ill or whatever, without them even knowing they are possessed.

also remember, sometimes these poor children are under so much pressure from their parents who want to just get publicity. Did you see how they did not let the child speak except for few words? Poor creatures.

I was watching a documentary which is called "A 6 year old surgeon" or something to that effect. It was pretty melancholic and saddening to see the societal and parental pressure on kids to do what the parents or the society wants ... if you do get time, check it out.

Yes black magic exists in places like Pakistan and India. May Allah keep us safe from the eye of the magician and destroy him in ruins.

That is one of the arguments against the possibility of "Iherited Memory" the proponents of it's possibility state it need not be gene related, but can be passed from the mother by hormonal transference during development of the fetus.. the strongest evidence for this is from the single paper, non replicated work by the "Worm Runner" (I forgot his name) at LSU Baton Rouge. The guy that trained worms (actually planeria) killed them and fed them to other worms, which in turn did the same as the trained worms without being trained. It opened the door for the possibility memory has achemical basis.

But if that is the case, it would mean any inherited memory would have to transer along the matriarchal side of the family and would not be transferred along paternal lines

    Super interesting. Extracellular signaling pathways.

Seems very similar to another effect that a mother's body can have on its the future progeny without involving changes in the genome of either an egg or a sperm. For example, the amount of sugars in mother's body can determine the sex of future children. Seemed implausible but the environment in the cervix and vagina seems to favor one kind of sperm in its survival over the other.

    I digress.

Would love to see and meet a reincarnate man who was a bee in his previous existence and through his good karma attained the station of manhood
