Good blog post! That's the first of yours I've read, and I enjoyed reading it. You did a good job tying together some of the different brands of hatred and prejudices we have here in the U.S. I agree that the irrational distrust of blacks and latinos (for instance) has the same corrupted root as the distrust of Muslims. I also think think that those who hate one group tend to hate others. Hate breeds hate. I hope that the Nelson Mandelas and MLKs of the world win out eventually, over the Trumps and other fools.
