    Salaam

Yes I find this confusing, is Christian Zionism a form of Talmudic Christianity? Is there a historical basis for this movement or is it a relatively new phenomena? Ill need to look into this more.

    Re: Some Confused Christians

    Greetings and peace be with you fschmidt;

Israel is very much a secular state now, so I don't see them all turning to God any time soon. Sadly, those pastors in the video overlooked a number of Bible passages that go against their ideology.

    Ezekiel 47

21 “You are to distribute this land among yourselves according to the tribes of Israel. 22 You are to allot it as an inheritance for yourselves and for the foreigners residing among you and who have children. You are to consider them as native-born Israelites; along with you they are to be allotted an inheritance among the tribes of Israel. 23 In whatever tribe a foreigner resides, there you are to give them their inheritance,” declares the Sovereign LORD.

    Leviticus 24
You are to have the same law for the alien and the native-born. I am the LORD your God.

    Leviticus 19
33 " 'When an alien lives with you in your land, do not mistreat him. 34 The alien living with you must be treated as one of your native-born. Love him as yourself, for you were aliens in Egypt. I am the LORD your God.

    Exodus 12:49
The same law applies to the native-born and to the alien living among you."

    Exodus 22:21
"Do not mistreat an alien or oppress him, for you were aliens in Egypt.

    Leviticus 19:10
Do not go over your vineyard a second time or pick up the grapes that have fallen. Leave them for the poor and the alien. I am the LORD your God.

In the spirit of praying to 'One God'

    Re: Some Confused Christians

Emotional, illogical blackmail doesn't last long.
Actually it backfires in due time when individuals concerned are given the opportunity to evaluate logically.

    e.g @5 mins:
    amen (or no)?

It's usually used in military tactics to secure unquestioning loyalty.

Herd mentality and mob mentality, also lesser known as gang mentality, describes how people can be influenced by their peers to adopt certain behaviors on a largely emotional, rather than rational, basis.

Social psychologists study the related topics of group intelligence, crowd wisdom, and decentralized decision making.

Driven by emotional reactions such as greed and fear, investors can be seen to join in frantic purchasing and sales of stocks, creating bubbles and crashes. As a result, herd behavior is closely studied by behavioral finance experts in order to help predict future economic crises.

    Evidence-based examples.

Researchers at Leeds University performed a group experiments where volunteers were told to randomly walk around a large hall without talking to each other.
A select few were then given more detailed instructions on where to walk.
The scientists discovered that people end up blindly following one or two instructed people who appear to know where they’re going.

The results of this experiments showed that it only takes 5% of confident looking and instructed people to influence the direction of the 95% of people in the crowd and the 200 volunteers did this without even realizing it.

The "lost sheep of Israel" was a term used by Prophets since ages ago.

When the hypocrites come to you, they say: “We bear witness that thou are indeed the Messenger of Allah.” Yea, Allah knows that you are indeed His Messenger, and Allah bears witness that the hypocrites are indeed liars.”

    Sunan an-Nasa'i Book 16 Hadith 1476

It was narrated from Yahya bin Sa'eed that :

'Amrah told him that Aishah told her that a Jewish woman came to her and said: "May Allah protect you from the torment of the grave."
Aishah said: "O Messenger of Allah, will people be tormented in the graves?"
The Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) sought refuge with Allah. 'Aishah said: "The Prophet (Peace be upon him) went out, and the sun became eclipsed. We went out to another room and the women gathered with us.
The Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) came to us and that was at the time of forenoon. He stood for a long time, then he bowed for a long time, then he raises his head and stood for a shorter time than the first one; then he bowed for a shorter time than the first one. Then he prostrated, then he stood up for the second (rak'ah) and did the same again, except that his bowing an prostrating were shorter than in the first rak'ah. Then he prostrated, and the eclipse had ended.
When he had finished, he sat on the minbar and one of the things he said was:
'The people will be tried in their graves like the trial of the Dajjal.'
Aishah siad: 'After that, we used to hear him seeking refuge with Allah (Subhanahu-wa-Taala) from the torment of the grave."

    692. Narrated Abu Ayub رضى الله عنه: Once the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم went out after sunset and heard a (dreadful) voice, and said, The Jews are being punished in their graves. (2:457O.B.)

    693. Narrated Abu Huraira رضى الله عنه : Allâh's Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم used to invoke (Allâh): Allâhumma inni a'udhu bika min 'adhâbilqabr, wa min 'adhâbinnar, wa min fitnatilmahyâ walmamât, wa min fitnatil Masih Ad-Dajjâl.
(O Allâh! I seek refuge with you from the punishment in the grave
and from the punishment in the Hellfire
and from the Fitnah (trial and afflictions etc.) of life and death,
and the Fitnah (trial and afflictions etc.) of Al Masih Ad-Dajjâl.
    (2:459O.B.)

    Shahi Bukhari
Vol 1, Book 3. Knowledge. Hadith 086.Narrated By Asma:I came to 'Aisha while she was praying, and said to her, "What has happened to the people?" She pointed out towards the sky. (I looked towards themosque), and saw the people offering the prayer. 'Aisha said, "Subhan Allah." I said toher, "Is there a sign?" She nodded with her head meaning, "Yes." I, too, then stood (for the prayer of eclipse) till I became (nearly) unconscious and later on I poured water on my head.
After the prayer, the Prophet praised and glorified Allah and then said, "Just now at this place I have seen what I have never seen before, including Paradise and Hell.
No doubt it has been inspired to me that you will be put to trials in your graves and these trials willbe like the trials of Masiah-ad-Dajjal or nearly like it (the sub narrator is not sure which expression Asma' used).
You will be asked, 'What do you know about this man (the Prophet Muhammad)?'
Then the faithful believer (or Asma' said a similar word) will reply,
'He is Muhammad Allah's Apostle who had come to us with clear evidences and guidance and so we accepted his teachings and followed him. And he is Muhammad.' And he will repeat it thrice.
Then the angels will say to him, 'Sleep in peace as we have come to know that you were afaithful believer.'
On the other hand, a hypocrite or a doubtful person will reply,
'I do not know, but I heard the people saying something and so I said it.' (the same)."

Hypocrites are not exclusive to Islam or to any other religion and con even be found in political parties. Sometimes one political party jeopardizes the goals of another party, while the second party lacks the ability to challenge the first. When this happens, the political party in danger might gather groups that share their beliefs and create a counterfeit political party.

Sometimes people join a group from the outside to cause division within that group from the inside. They hold the group back from accomplishing its goals by causing mayhem.

Some people, also, might join a faction without believing in that factions ideals. They affiliate themselves with such a group only in hopes of being financially successful or protecting their lives or property.

Such a situation is found in hypocritical parties around the world that rely on the common man's mindset.

Islam was no exception to this. A minority, consisting of hypocrites, formed alongside the majority of the Islamic society, one that was based on theology, social justice and moral excellences. They outwardly respected Islamic principles and laws, but in secret they were grave enemies of Islam.

They would corroborate with Islam's enemies during the most sensitive times. They would share military secrets with the enemy. They would bring fear into the hearts of Muslims by spreading rumors and lies. They would try to subvert the Islamic government by interacting with governments who were against Islam.

The harmful effects of the hypocrites are not limited to the past, rather they continue to cause difficulties for the Muslim community. This will be completely understood by referring to the circumstances and causes of the revelations regarding hypocrites and by referring to Islamic history.

The hypocrites formed as a party in Medina. A small minority of the people in Medina disliked the way that the majority warmly welcomed the Prophet after his migration. They, in their hearts, fought with fervor against Islam in their hearts and held on firmly to their polytheistic beliefs.

Taken from the Latin words annuo (third-person singular present or perfect annuit), "to nod" or "to approve", and coeptum (plural coepta), "commencement, undertaking", it is literally translated, "[he] favors our undertakings" or "[he] has favored our undertakings" (annuit could be in either the present or perfect tense).[2]

And your Lord is Not one eyed.

Said [Salih to the erring ones from amongst his people]: Why do you seek to hasten the coming upon you of evil instead of hoping for the good?” Why do you not, rather, ask God to forgive you your sins, so that you might be graced with His mercy?”

    Quran 27:46

The leaders of the arrogant party among his people said to those who were reckoned powerless - those among them who believed: "know ye indeed that Salih is an apostle from his Lord?" They said: "We do indeed believe in the revelation which hath been sent through him."

The Arrogant party said: "For our part, we reject what ye believe in." - Quran 7:75-76

May Allah protect true believers from failing in the trials that are before us, from the trials of life and death, from the punishment of the grave, from the punishment of hellfire, and from arriving at the trials of al maseeh ad-dajjal.

Dajjal shall begin to melt, as salt dissolves in water.

    Salaam

Like to share, seems attitudes are changing among younger Christians.

    Blurb

The Wall Street Journal reported this week on the declining support for Israel by younger generations of evangelical Christians.
