We should want for others what we want for ourselves. I want mercy and forgiveness for myself on day of Judgement bro.

Re: War criminal Omar al Bashir steps down, under house arrest

He was leader of Islamic shariah country. He oversaw two civil wars, with Christians in South Sudan and darfurians

Both the Christians and darfurians were the agressors; there were many war crimes committed in Darfur but is he responsible? Did he have full control over all soldiers and militias fighting on his side?

I suppose he is responsible to an extent, but wanting mercy and forgiveness for all Muslims is the way. May Allah compensate all his victims too amin

It weren't genocide, where did you hear that?, don't trust the western media they're always making things up against Muslims.

Christians wanted a separate state for themselves so they started a rebellion so the government of Sudan had a right to crack down and quell the rebellion, so on Sudan's side it was a legitimate jihad. Any women and children killed deliberately would have been wrong but I don't know if any were

The Darfurians did the same too, they started a rebellion as they wanted their own state and Sudanese government had a right to crack down on them too. In Islam, it is not allowed to rebel against the legitimate government.

Many war crimes were committed in Darfur by the janjaweed militias allied to Sudanese government and that was unacceptable and for that I would like the perpetrators brought to justice...

The forgiveness part is for the hereafter but in this world victims need justice.
