    Wait...oh, my mistake, that was World War One, not Two

    As for Turkey, its not so much as I don't like Turkey, its the idea of Secularism, and taken to an extreme that bothers me. I know Turkey is trying to Westernize, but there are other ways to do that.

    Turkey is WAY too secular! Europe and the US aren't NEARLY as secular as Turkey. Its as if Turkey is so secular that freedom of religion is even limited to accomadate secularism. That's all.

    i agree...thats why i dnt live there...i cant study at uni with my hijab...its silly...its not that its way too secular...its that they dnt no how to implement secularism so they do stupid stuff like attack the hijab...

    Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat the heck Are sure that they don't allow practicing the religion, or u mean 1% of nation is ruling.....anyway i don't believe that:grumbling

    Women in turkey are not allowed to wear head scarf this rule was in turkey from long time ago. France just recently introduced in their country.
