    Assalam walaikum,

Question 1, is it AND or is it Then.

    Question 2

There's plenty of talks and lectures about it on YouTube.
Can someone help me find one in bangla, preferably one by Azhari..

    It's for my mum...

She is quoting a lot of 'put your trust in Allah' but not relating the pre text...

Hence trying to clarify that wisdom for her... In bangla!

    Jazak Allah.....

Re: Tie your camel AND put your trust in Allah swt.

"O Messenger of Allah! Shall I tie it and rely(upon Allah), or leave it loose and rely(upon Allah)?" He said: "Tie it and rely(upon Allah).
    Grade : Hasan (Darussalam)

    English reference : Vol. 4, Book 11, Hadith 2517
    Arabic reference : Book 37, Hadith 2707

Up there it says And.. I have seen some that say then.. It really depends on the hadith and translation.. But they both have the same meaning either way..

as for the video, i dont understand bangla so i cant find any

The message of this hadeeth is not to be passive...to put effort in your goals and desired achievements instead of waiting for Allah to throw it in your lap.

Do everything in your power for something you really want or to keep your valuables safe...and then raise your hands and pray to Allah.

“Tie her and trust in Allah.”

Note the "و" in Arabic, it means "and".

I am sure you are right. I do not speak Arabic...but the message is clear:
First do everything you can, and then trust in Allah.
Of course that does not mean that you cannot trust Allah before that.
Maybe that is where the confusion comes from...
because you always trust in Allah but still need to put effort to achieve things in life.

My favourite example is the farmer.

A farmer cannot just lay back and pray to Allah to have good crops.
He needs to put effort into it. plant the seeds, water it daily, check if everything is ok, etc. etc.
And after he has done everything in his power to have good crops, he can pray to Allah that it rains regularely, that his crops not get affected by frost, hail, sickness, hazardous animals, etc., etc.

Allah won't give him good crops if the farmer doesn't do anything...(normally)
