Zikr (Remembrance of ALLAH subhan o Talah)
and Remebrance of death
these are the two best things, which are also prescribed even.
when you get some sexual desires, you may recite
Tauz...Azzubillah himinaShaitan nirajim
and ..Lahol Wala quata Illah Billah ill aliyal Azeem (2nd part of third Kalma)
(no one has the strength of virtue and power to remain unexpended from sin , but with Allah who is high and venerable. )
beleive me Zikr will stop you from each & Every sin..not just from bad desires.
There are three Masnoon (Recomemded) Tasbihaath for Zikr..
The best way to stop yourself is to fear Allah. If a person fears Allah then how can he
possibly think of hugging a person that they are not permitted to do so? There is no excuse in it even when desire is present. We all have to deal with desire but don't go on to hugging the haraam. You must realize that everyone has desires and the good muslims don't give in to them.
What you must do is stop looking at things when you don't have a need to look. Don't watch or read things that make you aroused. As pointed out, do some fasting.
But most importantly, stop being around a group of people who have no life other than to talk about sex.
l would keep away from the person who is causing you to have all these type of temtations and i would stop talking to the person... However if your temtations are strong as ever when your not talking to that person and its effecting ur worship. Speak with your imam urgently! If that person is your fiance! GET MARRIED! there is no sense in waiting and all that hormones runing through ur body can't be healthy either!
Start thinking about random things .. when ever you get close to the person keep your mind busy.. recollect todays news or something and dont stare at the person.. just look down
when u have feelings, how do you stop yourself from committing sin? when you have sexual desire? like hugging someone, holding their hands, etc.
please help
moderators please approve, this is a serious matter and i would like some advice.
You decide what is it you really want. A temporary fulfilment which the shaytaan is bellowing the fires of and can put you in the Fire for real, or the pleasure of Allah and His Shade in the Here-After? When you've decided, you will do accordingly. It's as easy as that.
