It is necessary for a believer that he purifies and makes his religion sincere for Allah and his Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم.It is also necessary for a believer that he also purifies and makes his actions sincere for his family and his fellow Muslims. This means that he intends the best for them in every way. He councils and advises them, wanting the best for their Dunya and Akhira. It is haram to use others for our own interest in order gain prestige, honour and position in society. Unfortunately, this is how we treat our family and members of the community. Giving advice to others for our own interests is insincere and disloyal, and is contrary to the attributes of a true believer. This speech elaborates on the method, objective and wisdom that one should adopt when giving advice within the home.
