OK first since i was little I learnt the Arabic alphabet I have read the Quran, however at our Mosque they never taught us Arabic just the alphabet and how to pronounce and read the quran, no writing.
Now I can learn it on my own cause I already know the alphabet, but a few things confuse me.
One there are letters which repeat themselves like ص and س both mean S. Why is this?
Second there is no C or X so how would you write something like car?
And last thing is since I have a UK keyboard every time I hit the A key Aleph does not show instead ش shows, why? anyone know how to change this?
Or do I need Arabic keyboard?
I would have done a course but I really have not time.....I do another course plus....if I learn Arabic I can read Quran easy I think I am forgetting it..
Second there is no C or X so how would you write something like car?
There is no P either If you would write car in Arabic phonetically you just use the letter 'Kaf' in this instance. Even with P, because no word has that letter it's not in the Alphabet but if we would need to say it we would just use B... 'Shobbing'.
As for the Keyboard you can always use this site, real quick and easy, also has slip down button with suggestions. http://www.arabic-keyboard.org/
