English translations say rahma means mercy but I have read that rahma does not only mean forgiveness. An example of rahma would be the mother nourishing the child in the womb.
Does helping people for example giving a man a a blanket on a cold day, helping a blind man to cross the road, help an old man carry heavy weight etc examples of rahma? Please answer me

i think it means mercy/compassion. so yes, the examples you gave would qualify.
i think the word "womb" is from the same root.
if i'm wrong, somebody will correct me. (i don't speak arabic, but know a few words)
