Nissan Motor developed battery car "PIVO 2" of 3-passenger. I exhibit it as concept car for Tokyo mortor show to begin on 26th. The direction of the tire turns 90 degrees and can move to the cross direction, and column parking becomes easy. In front of the driver's seat, it was equipped with the small robot which I estimated a feeling from the expressions of the vehicle driver and talked to for a friend sense.
Small robot analyzes the position of eyes and the mouth of the vehicle driver and distinguishes feelings such as "pleasant" "anger". It is said that I can enjoy a feeling talking with a friend. In conjunction with a map of the car navigation, I guide the place of the destinations such as stores by a sound.

I still can't figure how you are meant to have a quick 'getaway' in that. I mean in takes an eternity for it to open and close. There are times in life when an uncle who is carrying a basket of fruit who you just happened NOT to give way to as he crosses the road, who you then later just happen to see walking towards you with a stick in his hand..so a quick getaway is in need, no fancy trickery.

you must not be in a hurry with this car ! It takes already 2 minutes to get out of the parking box. Nothing for me.
